Hey,

Guys, for new members in Argonath, people must have new lessons which should be held by the /dts.
Here's the idea. Well, we know that the /dts give us a lesson with them driving and tell us things. But here's the thing. We could learn better if the /dts could hold another lesson where the candidate drives and the /dt after reaching the location, will tell us our mistakes and will help those better for the preparation for the test. That would be good! So, we can learn while driving and do better in test because a lot of times I see candids usually fail in the 1..2 times.

This idea is just a suggestion. RP would be better if this idea is implemented.

When i first came here, on this land, i had to drive, following the legal in-city rules, some streets to get back to the headquarters and when i got there the person reviewing me told what mistakes i've done.

That's what i remember.

"I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it. And I was really -- I was alive."

Well, since I have experience of failing my first /dt, my teacher, Zeus, did not allow me to drive and only taught me the main central rules, legal driving rules. Later, asking the SSDS manager, Nicole, she said this is not a official SSDS lesson and is not allowed. I guess the system has changed. But now, this is discontinued. I want this idea to be implemented in IV:MP.

And I think you are talking about the test, well, no. I am talking about a extra lesson to teach us better. RP will be better.

Well Zeus also took my test and taught me the same thing as you. I passed in the first go.
So basically it depends on the people who give the test
If you take the lessons CAREFULLY then maybe you wouldn't have failed. Same with anyone around who thinks it is harsh. Understand the things they tell you and you can pass in the first go.
Zeus is a good teacher and I passed because I understood what he told me well.

Well, we are not talking about Zeus or anyone for that matter, we are talking about as a avg. all user fail the test 1-3 tines on an average. Jack, for a improvement into our RP, and help these users, I really think this should be implemented into all RP and especially, Argonath servers.

Actually, it'll be the opposite. In reality, there is no such thing as letting the student drive and demanding the driving instructor to point out all the mistakes they make. It's even better for the driving teacher to go through the traffic laws one by one and elaborating on them instead of churning everything out like a machine only because the student is too lazy and impatient to learn properly. Based on RP standards, it would be SUPER dumb to let an inexperienced driver to learn the traffic laws WHILE they are driving.. what kind of driving school would even approve of that?

I allow my driving teachers to use whatever method they think is flexible for them when handling driving lessons or tests but I also expect them to be patient and hardworking. Sure, that seems like the easiest method for players to learn but it's also the laziest and as a matter of fact just unrealistic when it doesn't meet the RP standards you are so hopefully trying to achieve. You're just contradicting yourself. Anyway, it's not up to anyone but SSDS themselves to decide how they want to operate.

Well who the hell does this tho. The dt's dont GET money for their job and its very polite of them that they take time to teach you something unlike cols where you have to study. Dt's give their time to you to teach you something and if you dont listen or pass then their time is wasted on you. Its not their fault that a student aint able to pass. They give their time to give you lessons and also take a test. I dont think most people would care about you if you dont give them any profit while staying with them. Respect the Dt's and just dont show anger on them. Go learn traffic laws of USA on the internet if you have any problems because the laws are same mostly.

This guy hasn't spoken about any profit, He just suggested an idea which he thought It could be useful and basically helpful to new players to discover their driving mistakes. No need for all that drama ^

Lol sorry. But for this kind of lessons we need more DT's as most of the times Day's are not online. Maybe enrolling more Dts will help as I don't think this less population of Dts will be able to help every newcomer
