People, PLEASE Read this! PLEASE
*** What makes a good roleplayer? Quite simply is allow the other player an out. That's a HUGE thing. Let's say there is a shootout about to happen. One player draws his gun by using /me pulls out a gun. Victim then pulls out his gun using the same method and tells the other player to drop the gun. At this point, player one has two options: Comply or shoot. I can almost guaran-damn-tee player one will say "Screw you" (to give player two a chance to react) and shoot, but there are a few cases where they'd comply and say "Ok! Ok! I give up" and drop the gun. Once both players have drawn their weapons and given each other outs, anything can proceed there after. You can shoot, you can run, you can drop your weapon, whatever the hell you want to do. That is an excellent role-play situation if those rules are followed.
Of course, there are many different role play situations such as rape, drug dealing, etc. Just always allow the player an out that way everyone has a chance to react.
Another huge thing is, let's say someone REALLY wants a car that another player is driving (This being aimed at chickens, of course). Obviously the driver is going to have a HUGE advantage over the player trying to jack the vehicle since he's operating the gas pedal. The jacker pulls out his gun and points it at the driver after getting him to stop. This is almost always going to be a one-sided situation. The driver either has the option to give up the vehicle or drive away.
Let's say the driver gives up the vehicle. The shooter either has the option to go ahead and leave or he can shoot up the driver to protect himself. The outcome is determined by the shooter and driver interacting with one another. Remember to give each other an out, UNLESS the shooter immediately drives off. The driver can either shoot the vehicle up, report him to the police or just leave the area in shock.
Let's say the driver doesn't give up the vehicle and takes off. This one is simple, the shooter can shoot the car up or not for not complying. Simple.
ESPECIALLY THIS ONE!
*** Why are the officer such assholes? Speaking as an officer, probably because you're not complying or you are wanted for a crime. If you get pulled over for speeding, just pull over. We have no reason to run your license if you comply. You can get off with a nominal ticket if you just do what they say. Don't haggle us, we won't haggle you.
