Hello everyone. Since there is upcoming 11Th anniversary. I have small suprise for you. How it was done in beginnings. You all might knew the history.

The beginning (sounds like hobbit there and back again). In 2006 together with RON and Ronnel we was working on VC server. My part, well one of parts was properties. In the beginnings we had just few commands, and all roleplay was done on imagination. Basic scripts (buycar, sellcar, deposit, withdraw...etc)

...and that's all... all other was roleplay with (/me) comand. Now at that time we had also Argonath site (it was my job) we had to create properties section. How it work. I was driving all over the city. I did picture of all buildings that are possible to sell. On website there was a section where you could see (picture of property, localization, price and owner).
You don't find it on site... its just my own personal notes from that time to organize it. It was load of properties... it took a time to set this all. While RON and Ronnel works on scripts.
Ofc these are just samples... i have more of them. You can notice an ID of property and price at that time. To make a picture, I was driving with car on focus mode or fly (w/o hud, map, chat). People try to ram me, kill, or be part of picture. It was difficult to make this functioning. So everythin that was on site, i had to note... one property by one (all of them

How it was sold? If someone was interested to buy property, he had to meet property manager... send him money. And that's all. Property manager was changing owner on the site. Only information that you own property was on site... in-game you could just look at it

Same was with cars... (don't ask me why i write colours

just don't remember). But you could buy car via script. Since cars were limited, we had all of them on site with owners...and free ones.
That was on first edition. Later there was script update. In SAMP (from what i remember while i was manager) you had to stand next to the door (write comand for property icon and interior), to set property on sale. In VCMP property manager had to set points in property's corner's. Example of corners on flat terrain (top right, down right, top left, down left), then comand for price and comand for name of property. From that moment you could buy it in-game. So once again i traveled (not only me RON, Ronnel helped me) all the property's setting points.
...so yes it was hard work, don't forget admin work in-game and on forum.
