News:19/04/2008 * The Destruction Derby has returned to Argonath! The Previous Derby was shut down after more than 10 events. Although each event provided great fun for participants, many problems forced the closure.
02/02/08 * The second destruction derby was a huge success, despite a few minor drawbacks. Many had a great time, the ticket system worked well, I hope for a repeat performance next week.

- We have moved to Blackfield Stadium, LV. There are two spectator stands and two watch towers for judges, to improve security and provide a wide viewing area for spectators. There is a Chilli Dog stand that can be rented out. See the Derby Officials.
- Participants require a ticket to enter the stadium with a vehicle. Tickets will be handed out on the night. Cars will be checked before the drivers are given tickets by officials, to prevent anyone from accessing the Derby with illegal vehicles.
- Tickets allow entry only once. This prevents people from re entering with a new vehicle. Entrance is free.
- Spectators can enter for free. Walk up to the doors and /enter.
- We have tested the Derby for stability. There were no issues with 20 drivers, so for now there will be no participant limit. There is no limit on spectators.
Rules:- No carjacking. No stealing cars. You can only drive the car you entered in.
- No using lag cheats. Extremely high pingers will not be granted entry to participate.
- Only cars approved by officials will be allowed entry.
- No ramming before the event has began.
- Once your car is destroyed, make your way to the spectators stand.
- Once you have your ticket, you must enter the Derby Arena.
- Tickets will not be available after the event has started.
- No reversing/ no camping
- No exiting vehicle

If you error you are out- 2 reasons: your car will regain 100% health, and if admin sees you getting another car they may think you are cheating and kick you

vacancies:- Security and Police: We will need to block the rear entrance of the Stadium, so cars entering the arena can be monitored.
- Officials: To enforce the rules outside of the Arena. Decide which cars are acceptable.
- Judges: Will monitor the stadium whilst the event is in progress. Looking out for cheating, decide on winners.
