FDP Suggestion - Assignment of Government Positions

SUGGESTION:

The Federal Democrats Political Party are reaching out to the government to begin elections for the unoccupied positions in our government. We, at Federal Democrats, believe that electing these positions will allow us to create a more structured environment in our city.

Already, we have many working hard to make this possible, but we still require more for this.

The FDP are working on re-developing our governmental system with a hierarchy of positions, which are to be assigned.

The positions are as follows:

The Minister of National Security and Homeland Protection

The Minister of Citizenship and Migration

The Minister of Licensing and Traffic

The Minister of Financials

The Minister of Social Life and Communication

These elections will give us a more developed hierarchy of posts in our government and in doing so, will have a positive influence on our immigrants and citizens.

The FDP also request a representative of the government (Server HQ) to eMail (Forum PM) our President, Steve McQueen, to give us their approval. If we receive approval, we will open official election posts in which the government and the FDP will discuss applications and decisions will be made by our government, but FDP will also play a part in deciding the applicants, elaborating the Pros and Cons of each applicant and leaving the final decision to the intellectual people in our government.

We at Federal Democrats have noticed that the ARP has opened a Poll regarding this. However, their method of opening a poll is not as secure or structured as FDP's plan for the elections. ARP would require authorization for their initiative and none has been formally presented.

The way our elections system is better than ARP's is elaborated below:

FDP is reaching out to the government and awaiting authorization before taking initiative.

FDP is planning on playing a part in the elections, as well as opening official election posts with the government.

FDP would play a part but leave the final decisions to the intellectual people in the government.

We would also like ARP's Chairman @JackDockz to eMail (Forum PM) us in regards to joining us in this election system and working together to make this a revolution, rather than fight over it, especially as the city's welfare is our priority, and not the credit.

The Argonath Revolutionary Party will make their decision parallel to the publics. If we get enough supporting votes on our latest Poll, we would be glad to help the FDP in their mission. But if the public decides that now is not the time, then the Argonath Revolutionary Party will not continue on this mission.

REPONSE TO ENQUIRY:

Mr. Jugovic,

The first note is that anything here is subject to change, especially as it's pending reviewal by the government.

Moving on,

We believe that this idea should be implemented as it allows responsible security and protection, responsible managing of city finances, responsible citizenship and immigration as well as making Liberty City's citizens more social with each other, promoting social activity and communication to bring the diverse community of Liberty, together.

The City's Governor, Tandtrollet, would keep all Ministers in check.

All Ministers' perks are:
Recognition as official political figures of our Government.
A fortnightly payment decided by the Governor, factors being the amount of work and amount to be given.
Respect, honor, and integrity.

The elections would take place in official election posts (special board and any necessary sub-boards) which would be held by the FDP and the government.

If the government finds no suitable candidate, they'd manage without them, as they're doing now.

All details will be shown, except government classified details, and anything deemed confidential.

Cheating can be stopped with criteria for Ministership, which applies to each Minister.

Anyone with a severe criminal record, criminal suspicions or criminal affiliations do not fulfill the criteria for Ministership.
Any criminal prosecutions from a criminal past will be taken into account.

The duties, powers, and responsibilities of the Minister of National Security and Homeland protection would be as follows:

Duties

• To oversee the smooth operation of the LCPD, N.O.O.S.E., and FBI and to ensure all employees are working efficiently and properly when completing their tasks, assignments, and patrols as well as ensuring all procedures and regulations are followed when completing such tasks.
• To assist the LCPD, N.O.O.S.E., and FBI when enforcing the law, such as pursuing a suspect, commencing traffic stops and attending training sessions, briefings and the such, to ensure all operations and/or training sessions are commenced properly with little to no delay.

Powers:

• Authority over all departments, having the rank of "Security & Homeland Protection Minister", being an official member of the Liberty Government.

We will elaborate what powers this Minister would have.

• Access to specialized equipment and weaponry from any department.
• Clearance to view confidential and/or privileged documents or files from any department. (Access to hidden boards and such on FBI and ARPD Forums)
• Authority of LCPD Chief of Police, N.O.O.S.E. Commander, and FBI Commander. (Almost all decisions would be discussed with LCPD Chief/NOOSE Commander or FBI Commander though)

Responsibilities:

• To ensure smooth operation of each department and to ensure that all procedures are followed
• To ensure smooth commencing of any operations or training sessions.
• This Minister would be responsible for helping a department through a crisis situation.

Moving onto the Minister of Citizenship and Migration.

The Minister's duties, responsibilities, and powers are listed below:

Duties:

• COL Duties

Powers:

• Authority over the entire COL Passport Agency.
• Power to add, remove, promote and demote COL Officials.
• Power to give passports and police training.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure smooth operation of COL.
• To get COL through crisis situations.

The Minister of Traffic and Licensing:

Duties:

• Ensure smooth operation of city traffic

Powers:

• Change any traffic laws

Responsibilities:

• Prevent accidents and ensure smooth driving on the roads.

The Minister of Financials:

Duties:

• Manage the city's finances
• Manage the amounts of money sent to LCPD/NOOSE/FBI

Powers:

• Change amounts of money given from the city to LCPD/NOOSE/FBI
• Change anything of the city's financials

The Minister of Social Life and Communication:

This Minister would be a mediator between groups, handling advertisements, handling TV/radio/newspapers, handling cities public relations, government communication, and being the main Spokesman of the city.

Why all minister positions are needed and the one the most roleplayish one isn't?

There wasn't a use seen, but I've thought of social groups, and the Minister could probably be in charge of overseeing social groups, psychology departments and other such stuff, if anyone has the will to assist with the setup of such a system.
