LIBERTY STATE AGAINST DREAD ANGIULO

SECTION I. SUMMARY
The Liberty City Police Department and the National Office of Security Enforcement, Crime Investigation Unit has found out that Dread Angiulo, the defendant of this case, also pointed out as defendand in the rest of this case and political leader of the political party FDP, has been seen using drugs on duty, promoting this drugs to citizens as a police officer and selling drugs to civilians. We are not sure if a political party, supported by the state, should have a president that is known for his drugs selling and drugs usage as these things are prohibited in the State of Liberty.

The defendant has been interrogated on the 3th of November, 2017. In this interrogation the defendant was read the miranda rights and the defendant has been given the option to a jury and the option to stay silent. As a rare occasion, the defendant has been talking about 'Kerrar', an LCPD applicant, only. The defendant refused to give us any information or reply to our questions so we decided to cancel the interrogation and take this case to court.


SECTION II. ACTS VIOLATED
All acts below are stated in the Laws of Liberty City.

Act 9.1
It is forbidden to possess, buy, sell, produce, transport, promote or give or receive drugs.
This does not apply to Law Enforcers performing their duties.
This act is punishable by up to 5 minutes of imprisonment.

SECTION IV. CHARGES AND DEMANDS

A $1.000 Argonath Dollars fine as we think that resignation is severe enough as punishment

A 7 days (70 seconds) jail in Alderney Correctional State Facility

If the defendant is willing to plead guilty to his charges in court and shows signs of remorse for his actions, the Liberty City Police Department and National Office of Security Enforcement are willing to lower prison time to none. If the defendant is caught again violating the same acts a more severe punishment will be demanded.

I have read the charges and demands against me thoroughly. As for the past person I was, its not a secret that I belonged to a grievous crime syndicate but I have moved on from that now. Here is the evidence for that

But due to classified circumstances I will have to cut short my journey with you all. It was great time with you guys but I can't be carrying this anymore.

As for the charges and demands laid by the prosecution I have already told them during the interrogation that I had done that in the past before I started the political party. So I don't know why this charges have now surfaced after I initiated a political party. However, I don't see anything in the evidence put forward by the prosecution that would link me with doing this "illegal stuff" after holding this current post in the political party. So I demand the court to squash demand#1 of the prosecution.

All the exhibits laid out against me does not have any specific time and date as for when my actions were conducted. As for exhibit #3 & 6, they are completely irrelevant and even forged. For now I am defending my current post in the political organization that I lead.

I confess that I committed this crimes in the past but not after leaving that particular crime syndicate and after holding this current post in the political organization.

SUBJECT: RESPONSE TO COURT CASE

Honorable Judge,

As stated by the defendant and, it seems his lawyer, Mr. Kowalsky, they are claiming that the defendant has not done any illegal crimes stated by the court of law after starting a political party. We have been digging into the political party's starting records and noticed that the party has been founded on the 19th of September, 2017.

We request the defendant to look at exhibit #3, we see that the date of the record is the 3rd of October, 2017. Not only is the defendant guilty of using, possession and promoting drugs, but also Mr. Kowalsky and the defendant guilty of perjury.

Act 4.4
A person who gives contradictory or false statements to the government, courts of Liberty City or LEOs is guilty of perjury.

The LCPD would like to state their concerns to the political party FDP, the defendant Mr. Angiulo and Mr. Kowalsky. The LCPD will not allow citizens that self-elected them as president of a political party to be guilty of promoting drugs and posession of drugs, nor being guilty of perjury.

We also would like to end with the following quote from another court case:

Another point, a crime is a crime, no matter how long ago it was committed.

If this was 15 years ago, and we had evidence, we could sue you after 58 years, as any crime must be brought to justice.

Honorable Court,

I would like to represent myself in this case from now; Jimmy Kowalski is off this case. It was not my choice to hire him; he represented me out of mere courtesy. It is my humble request to the court that as per his statements and him being accused of perjury that be dealt later on if it still stands valid, for now it would be better if this hearing is limited to LCPD and me.

The primary demand by the prosecution of me stepping down is just ridiculous. President of FDP is not a government official post or has no connection with the govt as there have been no elections conducted by the current govt to fill-up the govt posts. As for the “self-elected” statement by the prosecution, LCPD has no jurisdiction as of who becomes the leader of a political party and who doesn’t. And after all I am not legally obliged to vacant my post as my current leadership does not represent the current govt. Instead the prosecution should have demanded a ban on me from contesting elections for certain period of time if such provisions are made in future. As for such a demand it seems that what prosecution is trying to do is not a judicial hearing but a witch-hunt. I ask honorable court to deny the prosecution’s demand #1 as my leadership in FDP does not represent any post in the current govt and thus does not prose any danger to the civilians. FDP is an independent party itself just like others, political parties currently in Liberty City does not represent current govt in any form, they can just suggest the govt.

I have already confessed to the crimes in my opening statement, I ask the honorable court to squash prosecution’s demand #1 and on other way they can increase the penalty, I am ready to pay heavy fine and even ready to serve an increased period of time in the prison. Also I would like to say that I regret doing such a crime and I am feeling remorseful.

Honorable Judge,

Our final comment about this case is that, if the court decides to disregard demand #1, demands #2 and #3 would be increased by 500%, making demand #2 a fine of $5.000 and demand #3 a jail time of 35 days (350 second) in Alderney State Correctional Facility. If the court decides that demand #1 will not be regarded, then demands #2 and #3 will stay the same.

As final comment, we would like to point out again that a (future) government employee with a criminal background will not be tolerated by the LCPD.

The jury has voted, the defendant Dread_Angiulo has been found guilty on all charges, the demands #2 and #3 have been granted and approved by the court of the liberty city, demand #1 has been rejected by the court, as we cannot force a private group to change there members or hierarchy so its up to them self's to decide will the bad publicity harm them or not, in the future.
