GTA IV / GTA EFLC performance differences

I have tried a couple of solutions but I just cannot get this to work. With this new client coming up I am trying to increase my EFLC performances. However, I cannot get my EFLC to run smooth like my IV:MP does.

I am trying commandline, same settings as GTA IV, same settings in my graphic cards and almost everything possible to have it run smooth.

Any persons that have the same problems or know any other solutions?

I think your AMD Radeon Control Panel is here to blame as you cannot access it while your laptop utilizes the AMD GPU rather than the Intel iGPU.

Theoretically my performance is almost on par as yours so I will test EFLC on my rig as well to check if it`s an issue of EFLC or you personally.

Yeah , I face same problem in EFLC SP , I get 20FPS on EFLC , And get 50+ On same settings on IV:MP T3 even same options , Don't know why is that...

Because EFLC has more cars, weapons, stuff which needs more place in your computer, etc, lower your settings and see if you have an increase in FPS.


Or just delete some of your useless files, if you have videos, pictures etc. try deleting them, they are the stuff that uses the RAM/GB the most, I cleaned 144GB with deleting all my fraps videos and pictures.

EFLC will not load the cars, weapons and stuff all at once in-game, it will only render whatever is near wherever you are.

Or just delete some of your useless files, if you have videos, pictures etc. try deleting them, they are the stuff that uses the RAM/GB the most, I cleaned 144GB with deleting all my fraps videos and pictures.

Deleting files from storage doesn't speed up performance because they are not loaded on the system RAM, unless you have all pictures and video's open and playing all at the same time.

Mass video production companies have that kind of amount, sometimes going up to 2TB of total system RAM. Ofcourse server based systems. Customer-great hardware cannot support more than 64/128GB maxed out RAM.

As for EFLC vs IV, my EFLC works better than IV since its more optimized.

GTA IV 1.0.7.0 and EFLC 1.1.2.0 patch are identical to eachother, on the same game engine, which was never optimized better than the other.

EDIT: Wouldn`t be surprised if my GTA IV ENB works out of the box if I just copy the files over on EFLC.

I didnt say 144 GB ram, I said 144 GB. Which is the 4/1,5 of my RAM, my RAM is 4GB.
