Blast from the past - A collection of Argonath RPG stories told by a asshole

With abs Playground being extremely offensive (even more so than I, and I can be fairly rude to people. No I do not give a fuck) towards members. Argonath RPG was conceived by RON, RONNEL, Agent and Sauron, to create a new community.

The story of that time you can read at their pages or threads, for example check out Saurons threads on the News and Announcement part.

But this thread, is what little I remember of Argonath RPG, this is a blast to the past my little children. Sit down and let a 26 year old nugget tell you some stories. Or you will get no cookie. Back to when I was 16.

I could tell you all sorts of shit behind the scenes (from the times when I was a player, MTA:VC admin, community leader at one point. Who'd ever imagine a shit like myself have a stint in that part... Did not last long due to personal problems but meh, was still fun. to sa:mp moderator. And everything inbetween). But for security's sake and to not cook up to much salt in the kettle, I am sticking to safer points.

Fun fact: ab is the swedish name for the city that Donald Duck lives in. Also why it filters to ab. Stop censuring my shit up you noobs.

I will be posting in this thread a bit here and there.

NOTE: As this was quite a while ago, my memory is a bit distorted. Thus things are not guaranteed to be ordered by date from start to finish, details may be missing or I may be biased. I generally have a above average memory but still. Also I'm drinking my sorrows away right now so whatever. Also the length of the stories range from short to a bit longer depending on what I remember.

New posts will be created when I remember a story or detail, for this first post I will write a bit. EDIT: It will also be added to the first post.

Part 1: Me and RON on a rooftop

At some point, RON was making a VC movie, not sure what it was for, but he asked me to help him. I was going to jump off and fall to my death (real classy RON, Imma get you back for that one someday. )

We were standing there, and he's like "Jump cyka blyat". Okay he did not say cyka blyat but it is fun. :P
I'm standing there and then I run off and die a horrible death. What kind of movie it was, I have no idea.... This was from 2008 I think, maybe earlier. Unsure..

Part 2: Sforza the pain in the ass Deathmatch clan that did a 180 and became awesome

Sforza as you know was created by AlSforza and TonySforza, but what you might not know or remember is that they started out being a pain in the ass for us when we were admins. Fucking dmers pls ban. Is what we heard a bit. Mostly thanks for WashSforza and a few others. (Dude you cannot deny you had issues containing your lust to kill man.
  I do not know how many times I punished you).

Generally they became awesome. I also remember a bit when we were sitting in that pool on Starfish island mucking about. Much later on in the years there's a legendary video of me interacting with JakaSforza and Tony and the guys, whereas I had a laughing fit that lasted 5 minutes. (Exorcism fuck). It's still on youtube somewhere. See if you can find it. :P

Part 3: It's a fine day to roleplay when cheaters strike.

So the thing is, one day the scripts on MTA:VC broke down. And unlike on for example SA-MP, there's no realiable way to "ban" or "permban" someone unless you have the scripts (Oh and btw, when scripts went down. People was essentially temporarily unbanned because there was no checks). So me and tony (I think it was tony) went to fort baxter to roleplay a zombie scenario whereas the deathmacthers was the zombies, you see we don't give a fuck if there's no ban scripts. We take a shotgun to their face instead until they cry and leave the server. So we roleplayed that it was a zombie scenario, and I specifically remember we hiding behind one of the sand walls to the left directly when you enter fort baxter. And while we waited for deatmatchers, we were roleplaying also that we were playing cards.
 Waiting for the shitstorm to come.

And yes the hackers got salty and left.

Part 4: RON came to visit, I demand a duel. People caught in the crossfire.

So one day, I think it was one off the anniversaries or something. RON decided to plop down from IRL for once to come visit. Me, wanting to Spice it up a bit walked up to the old one and challenged him to a Deagle Duel. Ain't no stopping me.

So we gathered at pershing square infront of those steps (for those who remember, I used to stunt ontop of the roof above the stairs with me trusty NRG-500).

We had a crowd of around 20-40 people around us (and I think a couple of you got wounded because who stands behind people having a duel? Really?).

And no we did not C exploit. Just a good old duel, the only crouching done was fair crouching just to evade or to make yourself a smaller target. No spamming was done.

I mean it was good exercise, can't let that man get Rusty  now can we?

I remember it being fairly even, even got him once or twice. But overall I do think he held it better. 

Part 5: Hardware Store

So I used to have a stint in making movies around Argonath, or about GTA in general (well who did not. Most have tried it at least once).

One day, I stumbled upon Wierd Al's "Hardware Store". And seeing as there was a location that fit greatly with the song (and even had part of the song as text ingame on one of the store sings), I had the GREAT MOST POWERFULL Idea of all time. Why not make a video to promote MTA:VC roleplay?

So off I went, the routes to be taken with the car had to be planned, actors had to be hired (see "being paid nothing except gratititude"), and the recording had to be done. Along with editing.

So I present to you, a 10 year old video:

Truly a blast from the past. Funnily enough MTA:VC sometimes glitched out and displayed animations that were not possible. So I exploited this fact which you will see sometimes if you are observant (mostly got lucky tough)

Part 6: The hackusations, the drama and people who don't know jack shit about stunting.

After I left the SA:MP moderator team (because of A; boored B; good old fashioned drama and me not simply agreeing with the lax attitude at the time), decided to just run around and stunt instead. A skill that came in handy whenever cops would show up.



So I started practicing your typical Tailbump to Front Bump to reach the roof of the building near GS9, or the even taller building next to it.

Wouldn't you know, some cretins absolutely wonderful knowledgeable people decided to piss in the ocean of piss, and accuse me of hacking. Leading to a short burst of drama with admins spying on me like a hawk for a while. As this got rather annoying having to answer PM's from admins and I was being pestered by people, I decided naturally to shut them up and make a video demonstrating HOW to do it.

Even with this, the hack accusations lingered a couple of days after that, except the admins had already verified it, so it was just really wonderfull people pissing in the ocean of piss.

Part 7: The Wierd MTA bug, One of the oldest videos I've ever recorded

This is way way back, talking 2007. Just read the video description. As I hardly remember anything of this incident, only that it was funny as it was synced, meaning =AVt=Smiley saw the animations and me walking around, and depending on what he did close to me, my character would be performing different animations. Thanks again man for following me around while this happened, it also happened by itself, I did not touch the keyboard besides for chatting or for scrolling trough weapons with the scroll wheel.

Part 8: Jcstodds vs the masked Devil

It's common knowledge that Jcstodds (I think that was his name) was a pretty darn good roleplayer. With the cowboy hat. One day I approached him with something that would turn into a 3 parter, with good vs evil (very typical trope I know). Whereas we duked it out with a hint of the supernatural (and good old gravity command comes into mind to make the spectacle a bit more interesting for those who gathered to watch). In one of the parts (I think it was the third), several people had to find the devil on the map so Jcstodds could smite him with the holy katana Blessed by those above. What happened was that I had my map blip shut down and practically the only thing that worked was /area

So naturally what followed was a massive man (devil?) hunt with people spamming /area all the time.
And yes the devil was smitten 2 times before, but the third was his end when he was found, and having punched Jcstodds. Was slain and sent back into the fiery pits.

I'm fairly sure this event took place around 2009-2010, but I'm unsure. 90% certain Jcstodds was the man I roleplayed with.

Part 9: The time when I sued =AV=Grzesiek for the lost donut (forum)

There was upon a time, a man going by the name of Grzesiek (or 9r2e5i3k, whichever way you prefer to write his name), who had once made me a promise of the most succulent and delicious of donuts, baked in
his proclaimed to be: Famous Molotov Oven.

Alas, it was not to be, and I brought down the righteous hammer that was practicing a old american favorite: Suing people for silly shit.

So I filled out a formal thread to sue him for the grand total of 500$, or the donut I was promised.

Yes he did deliver.
And it was goood.

I failed my suicide attempt. Which is good. Depends on if you ask me or my father.


Besides that dark hole, then yes I am alive and fine. Not dead yet, smashes my knee real good recently, as you know, sweden is fucking winter shit lands. But I just laid there for 1 minute in the dark alone knocked out (also smashed my head).

And then went o bicycling like nothing happened to buy paper for toilet. Shit is good. You should see my knee. The bruises, looks like a warzone.

Yeah, MTA:VC server did have a bit of a different attitude , now didn't it. When admins weren't around it was pretty much the players themselves who had to deal with those hackers. Had a deathmatcher in the server...well if he shot you, you had the right to kill him/her no questions asked. After a couple of months all the players in the server were competent enough to take on pretty much anyone who came looking for trouble, including hackers.
