Hey everyone, after a lot of requests we've come up with a system that we're comfortable with announcing, it'll allow players to get custom maps, custom objects or maybe custom spray painting
(Think of gangs that haven't gotten recognized yet) in their neighborhood or their housing, for a fee. Now most of you think this fee is ridiculous, but before I actually get to the fee itself, I'll explain why it is this expensive, and it'll have several reasons.
The reason for the high pricing is because first of all,
SA:MP has a limitation of total amount of objects allowed to be streamed to a player, the more objects around, the more lag a player will experience, so therefore, the pricing to get objects, and the pricing per object is quite high, but this system is mostly created for people that do have spare money, and that would like to get something of their own in the server.
The second reason is that we'd like to make this system a large money sink, we would like to see money going out of the server, the way we'll work this out is the following.
A percentage goes to the mapper that works on the system, and a portion will go to the ARA, ARA will be blocking off the location that's being worked on
(If it'd be a large construction, for example.) while mappers would be working off sight on the property, cranes could be put down, and there'd be actual forced role play scenes for ARA to work on, rather than the 'out of the blue' role plays.
a percentage would also go in to the state bank, to make sure that the state always has some spare money, and a possibility to be used by the mayors in the future. The rest of the money,
about fifty percent, maybe more, will be deleted off of the server, AKA a money sink.
So lets go to the actual pricing, we'll start with the pricing per object. Each objects starting price is $250,000 ARD ($250K ARD) per object, that could be a small object, and possible a large object, this is up to the discretion of the HQ member handling the request, most probably Bengt, or Brian.
Then there's a starting price for the actual type of work, we've thought of the following.
Do you want a little bit of mapping at your group HQ, or at your own personal house,
you'd be starting off with a $500,000 ARD ($500k ARD) base price, that's just for getting the objects mapped in,
then it'd be $250k ARD per object you wish to be placed, so do you want a BBQ and a couch, you'd pay $1,000,000 ARD ($1 million ARD), while this may sound really expensive,
it is purposely done like this so that people wouldn't get objects everywhere, we will not easily hit the object limit, but money can also be sunk.
Lets say you want a custom house made, in the middle of no where, this will also be a possibility, but the fee will be a lot higher, the cost of getting a custom property set, anywhere where there is availability on the map,
will cost you a base price of at least $10,000,000 ARD ($10 million ARD), pricing may vary, but will never be lower, depending on location, availability, and the dependent on the demand on the location.
HQ is also free to deny any request for any reason they seem necessary, and of course they'll also share the reason.
(This reason could also be, we're currently not offering custom mapping.)Do you wish to request something else mapped, anything is possible, pricing can be made up by the HQ, and dependent on planning, and amount of work, will be given to you in a professionally looking scheme.
There'll also be discounts, for example, official groups will have discounts, and that doesn't mean each individual player of the group will get cheaper properties set, or objects, it means that groups, next to their free mapping for gaining official, can get discount at secondary group HQ's, other locations, or anywhere they share their role play.
This also counts for recognized groups.
Next to the mapping being able to be done by official mappers of the state,
you can also map your own property, we will check your map on our development server and make sure it fits in the environment, we'll check all the objects, and make sure everything will work out fine, there will be no starting discount for making your own maps, but we might have it in the future.
Additionally, there'll also be taxes each year to the owner,
at that time of the property, they'll have to pay to keep the objects where they are, the price will most likely be 10% of the total amount spent, but may be different, depending on current state of the server, taxes will be collected a year after the creation of the objects.
So that's the plan, a lot of you have asked for this, and now we have a system that allows you to get the things you want, while also satisfying the needs of HQ.
For any questions,
feel free to reply on this topic, we'll do our best to answer all of them.
*Also an important message to all of you, the pricing, regulations, and allowance of what is written in this topic
can change at any time, that'll mean you might pay more, or less, than someone might do in 6 months, while you might also not be able to get custom properties in 6 months, it totally depends on the demand, and current activity around the server.
What's also important, is that all mapping,
can only be done on the land, unless decided otherwise by the HQ,
it can not overlap existing properties, unless agreed upon by HQ
(for example, you can map over your own property, but only if you own that property, and an agreement has been made with HQ.) and you can also not remove any existing objects, or properties from the map
(No RemovePlayerObject.)
TLDR;
- Base price for basic objects around properties/ HQ's: $500k ARD
- Base price per basic object: $250k ARD
- Base price per property: $10M ARD
- Pricing may vary depending on discretion of HQ member.
- Pricing may vary depending on current situation within server.
- HQ does not have to accept your request, they may deny it for any reason they seem fit.
- Taxes will be collected every year which will be about 10% of the total amount spend on the objects, to the owner at that time.
- Pricing is expensive because we are using it as a money sink, as well because there's an object limit in SA:MP, and to avoid everyone from using this.
