[IV:MP] Add the Groups system!

Do you spend at least ten seconds to read what you write? SAMP has a reason to have such scripts, there is a ton of scripted stuff related to groups and it was added to keep you interested in the game, while in IVMP you don't make a group just to have a shared bank account, a free HQ or just to store your vehicles because you ran out of licenses, there are different ways to have fun with your group, perhaps focusing on roleplay which is something that lacks more than a script.
The two communities have evolved differently and you can't just copy the script over like you may be thinking, also i doubt a developer would love to spend his time trying to copy another one instead of making something on his own. Back in 2013-2014 there used to be a ton of stuff similiar to SAMP but things have changed since RS2 and i gotta say it's not bad at all.

Group Vehicles

Group vehicle system is one of the best advantages. It allows group people to drive any car that is assigned to the group. Its just like the LCPD Cruisers. So only group members will be able to drive that groups specific vehicles.

Now, You will say that groups can always have a HQ and load vehicles from them. But there is a flaw in this system because each group member first will have to load a vehicle and they have to lock it to prevent use by other players. This way you also lock it for your group members.
In addition, its mostly like a group member buys a car and puts it up for group use. This member can anytime quit or sell his car.

The Group car system resolves this issue and makes group vehicles available for use by any member of the group anytime and also it will be auto locked to others.
Secondly, group members can donate to their groups and help buying group vehicles.

I only read this and immediately came on a conclusion that this idea might not be added to IV:MP.
Back in RS1.8 we used to stream multiple vehicles at once and since RS2 started average stability went up.

That asside, we have an alternative system for this called garages where multiple people can be invited as a group.

Sharing vehicles is available in T3 for quite some time. You can do it over shared CB which is under a password for the specific group.


As for the shared funds/offering money to buy a car/HQ/salaries and what not, that is pointless. It can be done by simple trading, storing cash in the shared property or pure roleplay

"I give you the rank of potato plugger, welcome. Your job is to clean the toilet and salary is 10$/h"


As for the number of spawned vehicles, earlier on we did not have restrictions and the stability was almost the same as now. The thing with restricting vehicles is that people started leaving their numerous fancy-pancy cars at improper locations.

Like for example, think of spawning all of the super-cars at MGS..
Every time you log-in..

And now think what would happen if few players did it like that?


Of course, the reduction of cars did help with the stability issue to some extent.

As for the interiors, there might be something regarding that in T4 kek

There was no need to quote Mihail.

I just wanted to make obvious that removing multiple streamed vehicles per owner made a huge improvement on stability.
As for the garage part Mihail didn't mention that garages could be used to store cars inside to be used by a group thus I mentioned it here just in-case.

I am curious to know how you "mentioned" it without using the word "Garage" even a single time.

As for Paprika, he did not conclude anything about a garage neither, he was talking about cash in a shared property which is a different thing alongside standalone garages.

I don't see anything said about garages here either, only about the fact that T3 had sharing vehicles from quite some time and IV:MP T3 is out there since 2011...
