Plea from the Civilians of Argo-Vice to the government

I think this topic should be simply closed. Was very quickly turned into a shitfest by certain individuals whose entire history in this server so far can be summarised by being bunch of smack talking annoying trolls.

I don't get it, we saw it as a RP issue as the taxes are were nearly a full quarter of the deposit, so we tried to make a complaint to the government that the taxes are too high and that we will rebel/protest about it.

How did I turn this into a ''shitfest'' by just awakening the topic and talking about what the original poster talked about aswell?

This up here you can't really say that it's doing something bad, it's just RPing about complaining about the taxes in the streets with a megaphone

I just woke the thread up so honestly I dunno what I did wrong..

Also can't you guys make the government somehow react/panic to protests or rebellions like actual governments irl do? I mean the last times we did this the staff team (which is in control) didn't react to rebellions at all, they just ignored it and didn't change shit, even if we did some kind of damage to the government, even though we roleplayed on that one

I know that it isn't Kessu's job since he isn't the mayor or some shit like that, but still it was a very relaxed response to people rebelling in roleplay, the admin team wouldn't change shit if half the VCPD fought in riots, his response was pretty much ''hey, wipe off half the city with a nuke in roleplay if you want, I don't give a fuck, I won't change the taxes''

Maybe we should make some kind of government system don't you think instead of the admins setting the taxes and the other shit a government should actually make

No, the system right now works perfectly fine and as it should. It's already been explained multiple times. That doesn't stop anyone however from creating roleplay surrounding taxes but I as well as others have already told you what would make taxes decrease. Riots, protests, etc. only make things worse so think about that.

And it was already explained countless of times that it is not a roleplay issue. What this really is is an attempt to use roleplay as a justification of instigating yet another VCPD vs the server TDM match. Enough.

Would be cool to have an in-game discussion about this ... we have the interior of the Church we can use as a court room!

Now if we could get a certain judge in-game to lead the discussion so there at least will be order, it'd make it even better.

Cops outside to frisk citizens before entry, entering without allowing yourself to be frisked allows cops a shoot on sight situation.

This is a cool idea, but there are players who will just DM the cops outside for not allowing them to enter with weapons, then come inside and DM the guys inside

Those who come to deathmatch would get punished. We obviously wouldn't do something like this without an admin involved.
Such roleplay seems much more appealing than your typical "/911 we riot against taxes and you are the ones to blame even though we know for a fact that you don't control nor benefit from the tax in any way".
