Corruption Crackdown

Vice City Police Department prohibits any form of corruption amongst its ranks. Despite this, however, the Internal Affairs Division of the Vice City Police Department has received anonymous submissions of criminal activities being performed by several members of the department.

An immediate investigation has been launched, during which two members of the police department were caught engaging in illegal activities, one of them being a high ranking member. Both officers have been warned to cease these activities immediately. The severity of the offence comitted by one of the members, however, has warranted a temporary removal from SWAT as a punishment for the period of two weeks.

Vice City Police Department wishes to serve the public at its best. Any information on acts of corruption received is taken seriously and investigated. If anyone wishes to submit anonymous information about acts of corruption against officers of the law, they might send an anonymous message to the Vice City Police Department's Trust Line ((my forum PM)). Help us fight corruption.


Organised Crime Dealt a Serious Blow



Vice City Police Department has delivered a serious blow to organised crime.
A warehouse suspected of harbouring illegal items has been raided during a police operation on 27th January. The Special Weapons and Tactics team of the Vice City Police Department has seized an enormous amount of illegal weapons, narcotics and explosives that were being hidden in the warehouse.

Out of 8 customers of the said warehouse, three have been found in posession of illegal firearms, including the owner of the warehouse, who has been found in posession of twelve illegal weapons, narcotics and explosives in his locker.

Vice City Police Department has currently pressed criminal charges against the tenants and the owner for conspiracy to comit crime and illegal posession.

Response to VCPD for their Counter Proposals and "Response to Demand"

We mostly agree with the VCPD's Response to Demand, but:
i) Our agents have NOT INDULGED in any criminal activities since the launch of the organization. They have done nothing but prevent other crimes from happening.
ii) I agree that it is in our jurisdiction to protect and enforce laws to only our clients and to our client's threats. But our team wanted to have something more than that, we wanted to PROTECT the innocent.
iii)The VCPD is LITERALLY asking the court not to protect the innocent, but only our clients.When we are trying to protect both the civilian and our client when in danger. Our agents down at work were very disappointed at VCPD because of this, this shows that the Law Enforcers that we currently have in the VCPD are envious of our step taken towards the safety of civilians.

So, what will we do?
i)Response to Counter Proposal 1.

We will engage vigilante mode against suspects/criminals threatening the safety of innocent civilians ONLY when the VCPD are not around/when the VCPD are not responding.

ii)Response to Counter Propsal 3,

 The VCPD said:
"A Security Group demanding the right to pursue or engage criminals is illogical and inadequate, and an attempt to compete with the Vice City Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigations and respective suddivisions. This would interfer with duties of law enforcement and we strictly object to any of the law enforcement authority to be provided to this group." and

"The group is also requesting the right to lock down an area of a scene of a crime, which once again, is the competence of Vice City Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigations."
Henceforth, we'll have to disagree to this Counter Proposal, and we WILL NOT spoon feed the VCPD of actions taken by us.

iii) In response to Counter Proposal 4 & 5:

In no way are we letting you have the authority to revoke our rights. If you feel that some of our agents are misusing their advantages. Contact our Higher Command with evidence, we'll have that agent fired and prosecuted at the court of law.

We agree to:
Counter Proposal 2 ONLY

"2) Callahan Security is to be given the rights to display weaponry in public space when protecting their subjects only when it is needed as means of intimidation to make a possible threat back off."

And please do allow us to display and use weapons when needed to protect the innocent civilians from attacks/possible attacks.

Dear Director of Callahan Security,

You are far overstepping your boundaries here. As far as the state of your agency goes at the moment, you are classified as a civilian organisation and will be treated as such. Any interference with law enforcement operations by your members will be treated as obstruction of justice and will be prosecuted accordingly. Callahan Security is not a law enforcement organisation and has no right noir power to proclaim themselves as one.

Callahan Security does not have the competence to protect the public. That is what the police department is for. Let me make it very clear once again - any attempt by Callahan Security to interfer with the duties of law enforcement and/or attempt to perform the duties of law enforcement without the legal legislation will be taken as impersonation of law enforcement and will have legal consequences.

You may want to check the definition of a security firm, Mr. Callahan, because a security firm has no bussiness interfering with official police duties.

Let us clarify ourselves. That is exactly why we have applied for a "Private Patrol Operator's license"(PPO License).

Callahan Security does not have the competence to protect the public. That is what the police department is for. Hit and Run


3rd February, 2018. Woman approaches the police department to complain about a hit and run comitted against her. Captain DaniGold takes on the task of investigation.

Woman complained how a reckless ambulance driver hit her Cheetah and drove away. Captain DaniGold investigated the scene of the crime, the vehicle and interviewd both the complainant and the accused. During the investigation, the accused has confessed of his crime and has therefore been imprisoned from fleeing a crime scene.

Liberty Cocks in Vice City


The famous football team from the Northern State of Argonath, Liberty City, called "Liberty Cocks", were having a match with the Florida State team in Hyman Stadium. The United States of Argonath Sports Federation has requested VCPD's assistance in escorting the tour bus to the Hyman Stadium. The Vice City Police Department officers have successfully escorted the "Liberty Cocks" team members to the Hyman Stadium, where they have lost a match against the Florida State team 4-1.

Homicide Suspect Arrested



Vice City Police Department has arrested a dangerous homicide suspect, who was been found hiding in his apartment in Vice Point. Upon arrest, the murderer was witnessed frantically hiding something in his drawer. Vice City Courts have granted a raid warrant against the suspect house, where several illegal weapons have been found. The suspect is currently in a holding cell awaiting trial on charges of homicide and posession of illegal weaponry.

Changes in the Special Weapons and Tactics Division

Dear citizens and officers alike,

The Vice City Police Department would like to announce an important change to our core division: the Special Weapons and Tactics, also known as SWAT.

The rank of SWAT Commander has been decomissioned and no longer exists in the Vice City Police Department. The direct control of Specialised Weapons and Tactics division falls under the jurisdriction of Vice City Police Department High Command (Captain, Deputy Chief and Chief).

This move has been made in order to centralise the VCPD, and we felt that the rank of SWAT Commander was rather counter productive than of any real use. Operatives who excelled on the field and shown the required leadership skills were not able to become leading figures in the Special Weapons and Tactics division due to a rank restriction that was made for this rank. Only a Captain could become one.

Which meant that whoever we wanted to trust with any leading role in the division, they had to become a member of the High Command. We found this to make no sense, as an Operative might be competent enough to lead the SWAT operatives on the field, but might not be competent enough for a High Command rank.

What this means now is all the most important decisions, including procedures, regulations and other similar documentation, as well as the most supreme authority of the division will be handed over to the VCPD High Command, whose decisions are going to be acted out on the field by SWAT Lieutenant's. SWAT Lieutenant's are going to be operatives of SWAT who are capable of field leadership and who will be responsible of tactical leadership on the field.

In other words, SWAT Lieutenant's are no longer part of the Command Staff, but do have leadership authority during SWAT Operations on the field. SWAT Lieutenant position no longer has a rank restriction either, so any Operative who the VCPD High Command deems suitable to be a leader is able to become SWAT Lieutenant.

These changes were negotiated and agreed upon with the Server Management, however, a certain issue has been raised by the said people in exchanges for this change to be greenlighted. As an outcome of such negotiation, Sergeant Steven Collingwood is relieved of any command duties in SWAT and placed as operative, atleast for the time being.

The new SWAT Lieutenant's are Captain DaniGold and Sergeant Ray Corbin. The VCPD High Command, in cooperation with the new Lieutenants, are going to work on other issue plaguing the division.

All of these changes was because of me. Since I'm the one who quick suspected sevrin for discharging weapon in public and I chased him. they told me not to do it and I stopped and I didnt think that sevrin would be punished like that. If I didnt suspect you. Nothing of that'd happen

Sevrin's ban was 100% Sevrin's own fault.  No one else's.
