Ultimate Guide to Fix Problems in IV:MP T4

Hey there , Today I will include every problem I and people faced in Launching T4 , Well , Try those steps and hope it works for you , Let's get started !
Warning : This tutorial works only for T4 Test Phase , Maybe , Won't work on future versions.

Step 1 :
Getting the Client

Ensure to extract your "EFLC" T4 files into a folder on your desktop , because you will use it.

Step 2 :
Ensuring you got latest patch

Make sure you have the latest patch of Grand Theft Auto Episodes from Liberty City in your folder.
To check what version you got , Follow those instructions :
1.Go to your main GTA EFLC Folder.
2.Head to the "EFLC.exe" and press it with RMB (Right Mouse Button)
3.Choose properties
4.Click on Details tab
You would find the following :


As you can see , "Product Version" and "File Version" tells you what Version of EFLC you got.
You need 1.1.2.0 Version in order to Run IV:MP T4

5.Well , Thanks to Mark for (A tutorial he made on Support section) tutorial , here you can find the rest of the details in order to get Latest Rockstar 1.1.2.0 patch for free in this tutorial  (you find more info there too)

Step 3 :
Setting up IV:MP T4 Client

Now , remember the first step you did ? Head into "EFLC.zip" and open the .rar/.zip file , Copy EVERYTHING inside the .Rar/.Zip file into your Main GTA IV EFLC Folder.
Make sure you have your game clean first , Empty from Mods and such , Because they might effect the process.

Step 4 :
Giving certain permissions to IV:MP EFLC T4 Client

Inside "comMP" RMB (Right Mouse button) click the "ivmpGameLauncher.exe" , then press Properties.
Head to Compatibility Tab , and find Privilege Level ,Then Tick the "Run this program as an administrator".
Then , Press Apply then OK.
This will make the Program always work as an administrator.

Step 5:
Launching the game and checking for Errors.

Usage :
1.Inside "comMP" start "ivmpGameLauncher.exe".
(Admin rights might be needed depending on your OS)

2.Click on "Featured" or "Internet" to browse for servers
3.Select the server you wish and then click on "Connect"
(IV:MP should start your EFLC game and connect to the server automatically)


Conclusion :
Well , Most people have problems in patching and stuff , I wrote this tutorial , And of course its not finished , yet.
To be updated , Make sure to Include your problems , its Highly Recommended to include screenshots , And I will make sure to update this topic and include more problems and solutions !

#1- The  Problem

Well , This caused a Huge chaos yesterday , Unfortunately , I realized the solution after wasting like 2.5 hours or more yesterday (Thanks for Freaky for help) , I didn't have enough time to post the solution before the test ends , Really sorry for this . Now , I will post the solution , If it gets repeated again in other tests , you'll have solutions right over here 

Problem : The game requires a NEW EFLC.zip folder , which contains a new version of the client , The game will NOT connect and would display the horror message of "Connection Lost".
Unfortunately , the Dev team named the file just like the past one (EFLC.zip) , which made your browser (Web) confused and would instantly give you a copy of the old one , Basically , you didn't download the new one.
By the way , WitchKing said already open a Private window so the window downloads the NEW EFLC.zip , But most people got confused and didn't realize what to do , unfortunately.

Solution : This is kinda hard , The NEW EFLC.zip file's Size is 1.25MB - This is the one you should get . The old one is 1.26 (Check it by pressing it with RMB , and clicking properties).

Well , If you didn't get it working , Try downloading the file using a complete new browser , Like Windows Explorer or something you don't use usually , because both of the NEW and OLD have the same name , which is EFLC.zip , so if you already have the OLD client downloaded , make sure to Delete/Remove all of your old browsing/downloading datas related to the EFLC.zip . Well , its your responsibility to make sure that anything related to the old EFLC.zip is completely removed from browsing/downloading data . Or simply open a New Private Window Tab and download the new one , and run it instantly from Downloads list , because if you open the Windows downloads file there is a big chance you will get lost.

Basically , Focus on getting a new EFLC.zip without using the old EFLC.zip , Because they have same names !
Warning : Things you might need if this didn't work out :
For people with Orgin and who don't have steam version (Well , No piracy , But I think Orgin/Uplay don't have same as Steam's options.) :
1.Re-Patch the game.
2.Remove all .asi files , because it won't work with them.
3.Re-Install the NEW client.

For people who has the Steam's Version :

1.Re-patch the game to 1.1.2.0 (Don't forget to downgrade !)
2.Verify the game files with Steam
3.Remove all .asi Files
4.Check you got the NEW client.

Hopefully ,  This works for you , Because This worked for me , Freaky and Huntsman , Thanks for help , guys !

Step 2 :
Ensuring you got latest patch

It won't work with the latest patch as it's 1.1.3.0. Here's Patch 1.1.2.0

Also, run ClientLauncher.exe instead of ivmpgamelauncher, that will have better results.

Well , Thanks for the patch link joey. (I thought Mark's one was working , anyway thanks.)
And some people might bug while turning on ClientLauncher.exe because they need to open ivmpgamelauncher.exe to run the server , and when they press "Connect" it will re-run the game , which might close some problems , anyway , you have better knowledge , thanks !

Verify Game Integrity in Steam, try again.

You mean getting EFLC For free ? Sorry , No Piracy if you meant getting it for free.

U can just delet the old file or move it from the downloads folder.
Also, using a browser like Chrome  will help as it automatically renames a file with same name to File(1).

I suggest people to make a separate folder for the client and directly cut paste their new client download there. This will keep you organized and will not mess your downloads.

I use Firefox , Whenever I tried to Download the file it copies the past downloads of it and only adds a (1) to the name , but its still the same copy , I highly recommend to delete Downloads History and Any thing related to the file from Downloads folder on windows operating systems.

I contacted one of my friends on skype and he sent me the original file , You can try other browsers like Net Explorer which don't have any Download history (Unless you use it , obviously) and try clearing your Download folder.

You can better remove the old EFLC file and clear your cache instead of removing your whole Downloads folder, which in my case is literally 2TB being lost, and then redownload the file from the same link to get the new one.

You don't need to run in Private mode, because when you download a file and that file matches the filename in the web server then it will pick that.
Armelin forgot to update the file last time which made the delay what led to being unable to download the new client and had to wait for 22 minutes until he found that out  .

You can try it out for yourself; Grab Notepad and save a file called test.txt, then redo this step in the same folder, you will get a prompt that the file already exists and you'll have to replace or keep the old file.
That proves no private mode being required but the web server update was necessary because the new file wasn't published to the public yet.
