SUPREME COURT CASE #03The Federal Democrats Political Party have come up with some ideas for the city.
The first one is regarding COL. We believe renaming it from "Citizens of Liberty" to "Liberty City Immigration and Citizenship Offices" would be clearer for new immigrants to LC.
We also have ideas regarding immigration and citizenship.
To begin,
Immigration - Before being able to obtain a passport, the immigrant must obtain immigration documents from LCIC by emailing (Forum PMing) any LCIC personnel. After obtaining the immigration documents, and completing a consecutive 14 days in Liberty City, the immigrant becomes eligible to file a passport application.
With this idea comes a new law:
"Staying in Liberty City for over one month without immigration documents is an offence."
We also believe that if the above happens to an immigrant and they continue to stay in Liberty City after 14 days of release without immigration documents, they recieve a more severe punishment.
We also believe that citizenship should be revoked if sentenced for a serious offence, and as the court are doing this in some cases, we have no changes to that, for the time being.
That is our first idea.
Idea two is to implement a traffic authority called the Liberty City Traffic Authorities. Some subsidiaries of LCTA would be:
DMVR - Department of Motor Vehicles Registration
DMVR would issue registrations and numberplates to citizen's vehicles.
*out of rp* Senate suggested this idea and it'd work well in LCTA
RTA - Roads and Traffic Authority
The RTA would would specialise in the roads and traffic, meaning that, for example, if there's an accident, they can take necessary action, such as close the roads and provide detours.
RTA could also obtain information, such as patrol reports from LCPD personnel and analyze where most traffic offences occur and pass the data back to LCPD in order to assist them with patrols and/or organized patrols.
SSDS - SSDS becomes an LCTA subsidary.
MSA - Marine Services Agency
Patrolling waters to monitor marine traffic. Only where required.
We at Federal Democrats have been giving top priority to these ideas and we hope for the courts to approve of our ideas and to implement them.
We thank the courts for their time invested in this case.
