@Manoni You got the Ikonik skin, right? Jesus christ I've been looking for help since months and I am here to ask you a couple of questions.
Like 3/4months ago, I bought the normal S10, it seemed the most reasonable to buy, the S10e missed some features, and the S10+ is way above my budget, so I bought the S10 though it was above my budget, but I bought it during a sale offer.
Anyways, It came with a "Fortnite Installer", so I downloaded fortnite which took me weeks because of my internet issues back then.
Then when I installed it, it required me to log in to my account. I logged in to my Playstation4 account, and I was able to see my progress, but there was no V-Bucks in the store.
I tried so many stuff, because I live in Syria, and there is so many sanctions against it.
I tried using a VPN set to U.S.A, and I tried logging in to my Epic Games account which was linked to my PS account anyways, and I tried playing 3 games. But the problem is the same, no V-Bucks to purchase appearing in the store.
I tried contacting Epic Games, after like 2 weeks of negotiations and explaining to them what is my problem, they apologized to me and they said that when Samsung wanted to offer a skin within its new S10 collection, they asked Epic to handle the offer process solely, so Epic Games couldn't help me.
And when I tried contacting Samsung Support, they didn't help me. They said you should go to you're Samsung Support in your region to ask them after like a hole month of replying to all their concerns. As they said, "Samsung support to non-US regions is very limited."
In my country, there is no Samsung Support, and there is no stores which are qualified by Samsung.
I searched Reddit, I asked here on forums I guess? I don't know, but I literally browsed everything on Samsung/Epic Game support sections.
Though, some guy when I was asking Samsung Support, he said he has the same problem as mine, and he provided screenshots, but he never replied to me again.
After showing my misery and what is the problem I am facing, let me tell you what I am going to try.
I asked on Facebook, there is a tech group which is related to all tech matters in Syria, it has like 60,000 people in it. And it is a very helpful group.
Many people tried to help, but 1 guy had the same problem as mine and he didn't solve it. And he did actually convince me with a very smart solution.
He said, "What region is your PS4 store?" I answered, it is set in the UAE [(United Arab Emirates) and the reason I chose that when creating my account because when I want to buy some PS currency packs, they are cheaper in my country haha]
And then he asked me, "What region is your Epic Games account?", I answered, it is set in the U.S.A.
He told me, then try using a proxy to show that you're living in the U.A.E and then try.
This solution did really convince me, so I am going to try it soon, but I am here for one reason only, which is to ask you a question. From where did you download your "Fortnite", did you open your "Samsung Galaxy Apps Store" then downloaded it from there, or did you use the "Fortnite Installer" which originally came with the device, or did you download the installer from Epic Games websites? I heard a guy on Reddit saying you gotta install it from Galaxy Apps Store in order first..
Thank you for reading this.
