What if when a property of a player gets auctioned off after a long time of inactivity on the server, he gets the buying price back? Or a fraction of it?

You lose your property to the state for not taking proper care for it (aka inactive for 12 weeks or more).

And state does not like to give refunds to people who neglect their stuff.  :rolleyes:
