TOPIC: Request to the Government to Set-Up Ration Shops for the Public
Dear Court,
The Argonath Revolutionary Party Represents the People of Liberty City and it is our duty to take care of them and be their representatives when time comes.
Living in Liberty city is surely like living the Argonathian Dream, but the skyrocketing prices of basic necessities and the never ending greed of the businessmen has been impacting our daily lives more than ever now. Business chains have repeatedly increased their prices so that they earn more and more profit and we the people are forced to buy their good because we have no choice. So we are requesting the government to take a look at the Proposal Below.
Proposal #1 -
We the People of Liberty City demand the Government to set up non-profit ration shops, which sell's basic Food for cheaper prices. The Liberty City population is not very rich, majority of us are of Low Economic class. We sometimes cant even afford 2 meal per day due to the ridiculous prices. Hence, we DEMAND the government to set up Ration Shops near Public Areas so that the people at least can eat twice a day.
Explanation #1 -
The Stock Prices and the Prices set by Business Owners are way too Different with most businesses tending to make profits. We have acquired some proof of the difference in Prices of the two.
Proof File #1 -

Demands from the Citizens
Listed Below are the demands of the citizens of Liberty City:
- Ration Shops to be set up by the Government with basic necessities available for bare minimum profits.
- Ability to set up private ration shops if the above one cannot be done. We will set up private non-profit ration shops for citizens to use. Prices would be minimum and reports would be sent to the Government.
- Exclusion of Private Ration Shops from Act 12.1
Fair competition - it is forbidden for a business owner to rapidly lower prices of his products to draw clients from the competition
- Ability of citizens to buy only specific amounts of necessities per day as to prevent misuse of these Ration Shops.
- Ability of Ration Shop Owners to issue Ration Cards so that citizens can only buy from these shops if they own a ration card.
- To prevent too many ration shops from opening, a ration shop should get license from the Government. Every Island should have a maximum of 3 Ration Shops.
Conclusion -
The Argonath Revolutionary Party has been working to help Liberty City always even when we may not seem to be working. We try to come up with Ideas that are Original and Innovative. A Ration shop which deals Food and Basic Necessities at a cheap rate is something that may help the citizens with their daily struggles and will surely lower their daily expenses. The cost of Living in Liberty City is pretty high itself and getting a house on rent or buying a house is difficult. This effects the people of Liberty City psychologically and mentally and deals damage to their brains.
Thats why we took an initiative to bring down some expenses on things which we need regularly.
Once again we thank the Honorable Judge to take out some time for us and we hope that we are allowed by the court to continue this project of ours.
Thank You
Signed,
Chairman
