Unable to start 0xc000007b

i downloaded new client .. when i wanted to join at first time it told me MSVC140.DLL is missin from ya pc , so i downloaded new msvc140.dll and installed it.. and after that i tryed again .. it showed me an error again but another error!! "unable to start correctly 0xc000007b click OK to close da app!" btw my windows is 8.1 also i downloaded x64 2017 visual studio c++.

Try installing
Net Framework 3.5 and make sure u got the xlive.dll file in you game folder. Also dont forget to run it as administrator and change the compability mode to 7 or the rest.

IV:MP T4 Requirements & Troubleshooting

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)

Before you start go to Control Panel -> Uninstall a program and uninstall all your c++  redistributable packages

Spoiler for Example:

You will need to reinstall or install if you don't have them:
Microsoft Visual c++ 2010 redistributable package x64 - Link
Microsoft Visual c++ 2010 redistributable package x86 -Link

After you finishing installing them open a "Command Prompt" as administrator and type "chkdsk c: /f /r" then it will let you know that it can run a test the next time the system restarts and you will have to respond to that by typing "Y".

After you finish with these step restart your computer and it will run a check and repair your C drive.

Can anyone help me I get this error message when I start Launcher(Build7)
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).Click Ok to close application."
My Single players of EFLC runs normally but this IVMP launcher showing this error^.Thx.

Same error for me too I tried all but none worked ,Now I will format my pc maybe this will help.
Note:single player works correctly.

Make sure you are running the launcher with administrator rights.

In that site i didnt see reistalling .net framework, try also this solution.
Normally with win 10 is preinstalled and u cant remove, by the way download it manually and install it, search for updates then.

The NET Framework is for Windows Developers ONLY. As stated on the T4 manual, the user needs to have the Visual 2017 C++ Redistributable, which is far smaller than installing the framework itself.

Hey man I think u downloaded msvcp140.dll file just from some website and copied it so u got 0xc000007b error [if u installed MS Visual C++ softwares (2005 & 2017 install x64 and x86 too) it will be solved] same i did.

100% of all the players that reported this issue were using cracks or mods that were not compatible with IV:MP. Also you can try using XLiveless.

So I formatted my pc and installed all the Microsoft Visual C++ from 2005 to 2017 then it worked Thx.

win 7 ultimate no need to copy *.dll files comMP derectory

Not working on Windows 8.1 x64 bit...

Tried Installing Every software..

Okay Guys, I found a Fix for this,

First, it is caused due to Service pack problem.
and Windows 8.1 has lots of bugs.

So I rolled back to Windows 7, and guess what ?, I again found the same error,

So I installed Service pack, which fixed the error.

You can get the Service pack from the Microsoft Website.
