ArgonathRPG SA:MP with 2 players online? What happened?

Remembering the old days back in 2010 up to 2014-2015 when things started to overcomplicate - the scripts started changing in unnecessary ways, Argonath started losing the original idea - using ROLEPLAY instead of everything being scripted. I remember better roleplay in 2010 than I do in 2018.

Just saying, you've had everything yet decided to overcomplicate, much how H1Z1 decided to bring unnecessary updates and lost countless players, and plus the game is becoming unstable itself, previous versions of the game being way more stable...

I remember the mafia wars, dozens of officers chasing criminals, bringing justice to so many mafia members, criminals, having so much events and fun...
Now, looking at the SA:MP manager, from 150+ constant players to only 2/200 players... I guess VC:MP Argonath has more players than SA:MP.

Perhaps you fellas should start implementing what the players want, rather what is new and "looking cool"...

Not to mention you can't even kidnap anyone anymore, since the cheapest weapon is what - around $10k?...

I don't mean to cause any hassle - however what is quoted here is true:

Back in a few years, I suggested that the old RS3 car system comes back, and I've been accused by some of the staff for being "money hungry" and disrespecting CBFasi's great contributions to the community, even though I had millions in my account, interesting properties including a mansion and a business in Pershing Square, not to mention the cars. And guess what, that system is back. Yes, cars are available at dealers, but people are selling their own cars now as they did back in old times.

Whenever I suggested or gave the IDEA that RS5 is going to fail, mainly because the old players are leaving due to Argonath's MAJOR unnecessary script changes - I got a "banana" or a kick, once I even got banned because I said RS5 is unnecessary - where is the freedom of speech? I never disrespected the scripters or the community members however I did get banned for that reason...

Why can't the "Argonath's most influential super assertive - administrative big boys" just take the blame? You ruined the server whether you like it or not. Argonath (atleast in SA:MP) has lost the original idea of light, fun roleplay, which made it so unique and lovable... Even the Argonath TEAMSPEAK server is empty most of the times, if not, at best, there is atleast 2-3 AFK guys... just like in SA:MP...

Argonath just turned from light rp to very heavy rp server.

You try and roleplay with people who are constantly doing SCRIPTED jobs - even though Argonath's staff has always been against automated jobs.... I personally want to start groups, military roleplay, I want to be a cop and chase criminals with my fellow PARTNERS (which there are noany), plus using teamspeak for communication, however it doesn't work like that anymore. The criminals just aren't there anymore, so there's no need for cops. No cops = no TS3 communication, no TS3 comm - no fun, its just losing sense more and more. Plus, who can guarantee the players are even going to be in game, yet alone roleplay.

Not sure, but playerbase is still getting worse by time... looks like SA:MP's dead.

Well, to be fair, what I noticed recently is that anyone who suggests going back to old scripts either partially or completely get accused of disrespecting scripters and mappers, although these are merely suggestions or ideas not orders, and they are what made a solid ground for both veterans to stay and new players to come and settle.

Many of the veterans have probably even forgot about Argonath itself, not just their accounts. What it takes to bring the server back to its normal status is, to the best of my belief, the instauration of RS3/early RS4 scripts with enhanced security to prevent loopholes and also advertising the server. SA:MP still has a great base of active players and most people are still playing on the same levels as before. Some people claimed that advertising would bring sort of non-genuine new players who just want to deathmatch around and hack. Well guess what, these people have come before and still do, even without intensified advertising. New players want somewhere where they feel that they are truly welcome and valued, instead of being just an ID on the tab list.

There is nothing to lose in case of change and it is never too late for that. We also should as players behave accordingly and give a good example to new players.

As i have heard and seen myself that those staff members and normal players want to work for the server aren't getting change, if any staff member does that, he gets a punishment from higher member of staff and if any player wants to do anything, he's being ignored, getting weird excuses. Im suggesting that allow people to work and see the improvement, if you don't care make a Topic and say "We don't care anymore" so people won't hope for nothing, no?

Well. Aiden the helper how many times was I contacted by newbies asking if Aiden the helper can come IG.
It's a shame but it's obvious shit goes down you even got IC killed for being an helper by some people how dumb is that.
Some one is trying to kill the sever, and he is doing it nicely not one guy actually look we are at barely 2 players online AFK.
