United States of Argonath vs. The Slasto Family

I. Introduction

On 24th June 2018, an initial investigative case against a group, suspected of criminal operations, named Slasto, has been initiated. An undercover asset has been placed in the group in order to investigate the nature of their operations, and whether their claims of being a legal family are true.

Unfortunately, during the process of our investigation, it has been uncovered that Slasto is, in fact, nothing but an organised crime organisation. It is therefore being prosecuted by the State for several acts of serious crimes against the State and its people.

II. Case Breakdown

First of all, the Bureau was able to identify the members of the group. The group has two bosses, identifies as Leonnox Slasto and [RRZ]SyzmaPL. The rest of the members are: Goura_Slasto, Mike_Slasto, Neo_Slasto, Ghiless, Michael_Slasto, Sule_Slasto, Rambyeno_Slasto, Kool_Slasto The initial identification were done by Capo of the family naming the members himself. Some other members were identified during the course of the operation. Additionally, the group members quite explicitly identify it as a criminal family.

We were then tracking several illegal activities being committed by the organisation, ranging from illegal posession and vehicle smuggling, to murder.

The group seems to acquire a big part of its income via organised vehicle smuggling, as the Bureau was able to identify several instances of such crime being committed. On 24th of June, 2018, Rambyeno_Slasto has smuggled a vehicle. On 26th June alone, we were able to identify two counts of vehicle smuggling, commited by Mike Slasto and Goura Slasto. This means that the group is, as known to the Prosecution, actively involved in vehicle smuggling.

The group, however, doesn't just smuggle vehicles. They do it as an organized entity. As you are able to see in exhibit 2, the two men communicate with one another to smuggle the vehicles and earn the cash collectively. What is more, the group tries to enforce a monopoly over the vehicle smuggling bussiness by using any means neccessary, including homicide. As seen in exhibit 3, Goura Slasto can be seen threatening a female Burrito driver to leave the crane area, armed with an Avtomat Kalashnikova Assault Rifle. Goura Slasto quite explicity threatens her with death. In further evidence, a man can be seen murdered by the group leader, Leonnox Slasto, who then proceeds to loot their deceased body. Do not how all the pointed out Slasto members are seen together during these acts, which even further reinforces the statement of Slasto being an organised crime entity.

On 27th and 28th June, Leonnox Slasto and Groua Slasto were once again caught smuggling vehicles, as you can see in exhibit 2.1.

The money acquired by vehicle smuggling has been stored in the bank accounts of Goura Slasto in El Banco Grando Currupto, as seen in exhibit 2.2

On top of all of that, the Slasto organisation is also guilty for several counts of illegal posession. A search warrant execution based on evidence acquired via the informant initially pointed out an illegal posession of ten grenades by Goura Slasto, whose property is pinpointed as Ghetto Flat 262, Little Haiti. A couple of days later, the property has also been enriched with a Bulldog Shotgun.

Based on this evidence, a raid warrant has been swiftly acquired and executed. The results of the raid warrants were:

148 Bulldog Shotgun
6 grenades

Mr. Ghiless fits into this criminal scheme by actively offering his property to be used for storing the illegal rewards gained via criminal operations, as can be seen in exhibit 5, and is therefore guilty as per Section III, ACT VI of the Criminal Law of the Vice City Constitution.

III. Charges and Demands

The United States of Argonath, represented by the Federal Bureau of Investigation demands that the group is charged with
1) six (6) counts of vehicle smuggling // 700.000 ARD
2) one (1) count of armed assault // 7.000 ARD
3) one (1) count of homicide // 200.000 ARD
4) 174 units of illegal items / three counts of illegal posession // 600.000 ARD

and is fined with a monetary penalty of a total of 1.507.000 ARD for the crimes committed against the state. The state also demands that people who have been cooperating with the mentioned group to be issued the following prison sentencing:

1) Leonnox Slasto - organising a criminal entity with intentions to comit crime, and doing so by the various counts of criminal acts shown above. We demand 45 years (45 minutes) of imprisonment.
2) Goura Slasto - several counts of vehicle smuggling, one count of armed assault and three counts of illegal posession. We demand 25 years (25 minutes) of imprisonment
3) Kool Slasto - one count of vehicle smuggling. We demand a 5 year (5 minute) prison sentence.
4) Rambyeno Slasto - one count of vehicle smuggling. We demand a 5 year (5 minute) prison sentence.
5) Mike Slasto - one count of vehicle smuggling. We demand a 5 year (5 minute) prison sentence.
6) Ghiless - was knowingly part of a criminal entity and helped comit/prepare criminal acts by offering them their storage for use of hiding dirty money. We demand a year prison sentence (1 minute).

We also demand that:
- Property 262, Little Haiti, is seized from the owners for being used as an accessory for the attrocities committed by the organisation.
- The bank account of Goura Slasto is wiped clean due to harbouring illegally acquired money and is frozen immediately to avoid any change.
- The organisation under any name or any sort of otherwise affiliation, is disbanded and recognized as an illegal gathering and that any affiliation to this group is declared unlawful.

My name is Kowalski and I was formerly the Underboss, Acting Don, and Don (along with Leonnox Slasto) of Slasto. I was promoted to Don earlier back and was the second Don, along with Leonnox, though I was demoted back to Acting Don, probably so I could be ordered around. I was the informant for the Vice City FBI and all allegations against the defendant(s) by the prosecution are true, and were witnessed by me.

When I first joined, I was told it was a legal family, so I was happy to join, That was until they turned criminal, and I spoke with Special Agent Gabriel Adams, main prosecutor and acting Director of the Vice City FBI. I was disgusted by the criminal scum Slasto turned into, so I was made an Informant.

Except for the evidence taken by the FBI themselves, I gave all evidence to the FBI and so I've witnessed it all. I hereby back up the allegations made by the FBI and also wish to apologize for any crime I may have committed to protect my cover. I am happy that the FBI and I have managed to lower the amount of criminal scum in our city, and hope that these criminals don't show up again.

JUDGEMENT

[1].        By criminal summons and indictment filed on the 1st of June 2018, six defendants: Mr Leonnox Slasto (the ‘First Defendant’), Mr Goura Slasto, (the ‘Second Defendant’), Miss Kool Slasto (the ‘Third Defendant’), Mr Rambyeno Slasto (the ‘Fourth Defendant’), Mr Mike Slasto (the ‘Fifth Defendant’), and Mr Ghiless (the ‘Sixth Defendant’) are charged with various charges. I will discuss the evidence in relation to each defendant and then go over their submissions.

Leonnox Slasto

[2].        Mr Leonnox Slasto is charged of organising a criminal entity. The evidence given by the prosecution proves this beyond reasonable doubt. In Exhibit 1 the defendant describes the criminal entity and it's members. He states himself as the "Don", the highest level in a crime family. He also confirms that the other defendants are also entities of this crime family. They also discuss and communicate their crimes together which proves that every defendant knew about the organizations criminal enterprise.

[3].        There is also evidence submitted in Exhibit 3 that clearly shows Mr Leonnox Slasto committing Murder with the help from the ‘Second Defendant' Goura Slasto.

[4].        In Exhibit 2.1, Mr Leonnox Slasto is caught illegally smuggling automobiles.

Goura Slasto

[5].        Mr Goura Slasto is mentioned to be the Capo of the crime family Slasto. Evidence submitted by the prosecution clearly show the defendant committing several crimes.

[6].        In Exhibit 2, Mr Goura Slasto is seen smuggling multiple automobiles with the help of the ‘Fifth Defendant’ Mike Slasto. In Exhibit 2.1, the evidence shows Mr Goura Slasto again smuggling automobiles.

[7].        In Exhibit 3, evidence shows Mr Goura Slasto shouting death threats towards dock workers, threatening them to "leave or dead". Exhibit 3 also shows Mr Goura Slasto aiding the the ‘First Defendant’ to commit Murder, using firearms in public and attempting to murder others himself.

[8].       In Exhibit 4, Mr Goura Slasto's property is raided by the Police. Several illegal items were found, including C4 explosives, Bulldog shotgun, and pin grenades.

Kool Slasto

[9].       Miss Kool Slasto is mentioned by the ‘First Defendant’ to be an entity of the crime family Slasto. Evidence submitted in Exhibit 1 prove this to be true beyond reasonable doubt.

[10].        Evidence provided by the prosecution in Exhibit 2.1 clearly shows Miss Kool Slasto illegally smuggling automobiles.

Rambyeno Slasto

[11].       Mr Rambyeno Slasto is caught smuggling vehicles illegally at the crane in Vice Port. This evidence can be seen in Exhibit 4.

Mike Slasto

[12].       Mr Mike Slasto is seen smuggling vehicles illegally on multiple occasions with the ‘Second Defendant’, shown in Exhibit 2. Mr Mike Slasto can also be seen to Commit Murder in Exhibit 4.

Mr Ghiless

[13].       Mr Ghiless is mentioned by the ‘First Defendant’ to be an entity of the crime family Slasto. Evidence submitted in Exhibit 1 prove this to be true beyond reasonable doubt.

[14].       In Exhibit 3 he is seen communicating with the other members, and allowing/instructing the crime family to use his property for criminal means.

[15].       In Exhibit 4 Mr Ghiless mentions that he is illegally fishing and further discussing how the family should acquire funds illegally. He is also seen aiding Mike Slasto to commit murder.
