[SA:MP] Argonath Event Team

The Argonath Event Team (AET) is a team of organizers founded by Tom_Evans on Argonath's 12th Anniversary (July 28, 2018) in response to the decrease Argonath SA:MP's playerbase. AET's goal is to help spark players' interest by organizing fun events, creative roleplay, and nice parties.

The first project we supported was the Small August Project, which managed to organize daily events for the whole month of August 2018. Beyond the prizes in our events, we hope you appreciate the fun you have and the effort we put in. While events can be hosted by anyone, we do our best to come up with creative ideas and improve the way we organize activities.

If you want to volunteer for AET, show your good intentions and your interest in helping organize events. Volunteers must help in brainstorming creative ideas for RP and Events, as well as help bring these ideas to life.

The purpose of this team lies in mere promotion of good RP, raising the playerbase and having a fun enviroment in the server. Don't let the "Event" in the name, drift you away. I will include anyone in the team who has the creativity, will and time to dedicate for these 3 purposes. If not this team a new one. 

The team's vision is supporting a realistic execution of events funded by advertising products and services.

I don't mean to be disrespectful or anything, but please refrain from having "Escape the Shamal" type of events, where there is no RP scenario that would actually happen. (DD is something that happens IRL, racing and paintball too)

You're right, it is not realistic, it was an event hosted by a player and we decided to assist him, that's all, it is an understandable concern.

This project was started by Tom Evans with the assist of the HQ with the idea to bring back the playerbase. We are not just planning random events, there are more scenarios scheduled and others non-listed that will have roleplay in the upcoming days and so on, this is an attempt to bring back an enjoyable environment within the server and a way to keep the players entertained while the script updates are being finished.
