Modding different things like cars, skins on guns does not work ! (No advantage)

Hello, celiolith speaking. I got a slight issue because some of you peoples know that changing skins on guns and cars works and so on..I know how to do it both, This worked before but it doesen´t now. I´ve tried several times to change skins on guns and cars and I know I´m doing right since I´ve done it before. Is it something because of the new scripts?. If anywone knows please post it on this topic, Much appricciated,

Reinstall your GTA - I have gun skins + Mercedez CK500 Stretch limo.

Reinstall?, Tried that. I´m using IMG tool 2.0 replacing .dff and .txd files and then rebuilding archive, entering gta:sa but it doesen´t work.

1) Uninstall GTA
2) go in 'my documents' - delete anything related to GTASA
3) Delete anything related to GTASA, except pics & stuff, you can back them up
4) reinstall, see if it worked.

I dont see why your GTA wont work
My mods work with new scripts...

as usually, no. first I replaced, then I rebuilt and then I replaced the weapon.dat and american .gxt and then I patched. Didn´t work and now I tried deleting and then adding files instead of replacing, didn´t work.

are you sure you dont have 2 san andreas folders?

If u gonna mod gta, make a backup of gta3.img file, if mods mess up gta, just copy backup and ur safe... as for car mods and img tool i sugest to use SAMI(SanAndreasModIntaler)

Do u wanna change weapon names and specifications too?

If not just put .dff and .txd in gta3.img (just skins)

dosent matter cDa, weapons.dat is hardcoded into SA:MP you can change everything in that file and it will be the same in SA:MP.

Use SAMI (San Andreas Mod Installer).

I tryed, but then I couldn´t start sa-mp or Gta_sa. Just said "Gta_sa.exe isn´t answering". And then game shutting down.

It sounds like somthing is missing... or doubled

I have had somthing similar to this, with another program, it was my Photoshop.

I had two of them installed, and i kept getting errors when i did somthing, thing is...
i couldent find the other one, i searched my whole PC and nothing


IF you can, backup some important files - reinstall your OS
That was it deletes everything on your HDD, and all spywares and virsus that you could have.
