You are right on that. Patron is only a subscription based platform. You most cancel the subscription after if you only want to make one payment and not a month-to-month payment.

As much as I like the idea, I think Gandalf should have explained this, because after all server is his. If we somehow manage to collect the needed donations, will that make the owners become more active?

Considering this entire system is made by SA:MP HQ (and them alone) it should not be using the entire community as it's name, but the SA:MP division specifically.

You shouldn't ask for donations for paid developers for Argonath RPG, when it is only one division of the community instead of the entire community, because believe it or not, Argonath RPG is not SA:MP.

VC:MP Management officially will state we have nothing to do with this.

 I am not sure that this is the right way to bring the SA:MP server back active, given the current playerbase(The 2-3 people who join weekly), I doubt any of them can actually afford the smallest donation. And I am really looking forward for the promised updates which were mentioned. Nevertheless, good luck with this!

I hope i'm wrong but if you want people to donate money and look at this patreon seriously you guys better have a roadmap and explanations for the community, especially on what has happened the last two years. Transparency is something you don't get often, especially here. Nevertheless, good luck getting that 325$ monthly reward.

Full disclaimer - I am not being paid from this patreon. I would refuse even if I was offered it... This is all going to fund a second developer that will help me work full time on an entire new gamemode.

I agree. We need to make a roadmap for RS6. I will work on getting that done next time I get in touch with Andeey and new developer (they live on the other side of the planet from me..).

If we still had to wait for Gandalf to sign off on things, we wouldn't be trying anymore. As I said earlier we're not waiting for Gandalf to get things done. If he wants to be more involved then I am sure he'd come around to partake in discussions.

The priority is making a new Game mode with all the features promised by the past leaders/developers that have come and gone. We want there to be features that everyone can enjoy bug free, For example a proper drug system, Fishing, Mayoral elections.. and many more.

And yes we are sorry that our previous plan to re-write the code did not come through as intended, The developer who was working on it dissapeared so there isn't much we could do.
Which will not happen with our new developer as he will be under contract to work for the server.
