I have a laptop from 2012 that has never been checked and formatted shit ton of times because of viruses, but I can get 60 FPS at Angel Pine.

No, I normally ran upto full 90 fps on Samp. Gta 4 works smoother than Samp rn

This is getting off topic, but - Maybe some mods or something doesn't agree with concentrated population and/or custom mapping? A few days ago ad to switch to 5y/o laptop, and it's quite shit. Can play GTA 4 only on min settings and with huge frame drops, but nowhere in samp it lags or spikes for me.

Did try with a clean copy. Same result. Most probably due to large no of objects near fd and pd.
Runs smoother at windowed mode but same resolution.

This isn't the place for PC help but i can tell you that i am currently running Argonath on a dual core laptop built in 2009, with 4gb of DDR2 ram and a cracked windows 7, running at 60 fps in angel pine, with a minimum framerate of 58 according to MSI afterburner, So there must be something else wrong with your game/PC.

I regret to inform everybody that our Developer Yashiro has given us word that he will no longer be able to work for Argonath due to lack of time and irl issues, Though in this small time we have managed to work hard and speed up the server and make room for new scripts thanks to @Chase and Yashiro, Now with this being said we have been exploring other options but have come out dry as unfortunately there isn't many people willing to work for a SA:MP server.

Moving forward we will keep the donation page open for if anybody wishes to help pay for the hosted tab of SA:MP and if people are pleased with future scripting we can possibly reward our hard working Developer.

Now that everything is in order to continue scripting we will still be focusing on RS6 though it may take a little bit longer than expected due to not having a paid developer on board.
(We have some scripts currently in testing so lookout for future updates)

 So the first month was pro bono, he leaves early second month. Was he paid for it? I thought things were set in stone and were going to work. Way I see it, no official communication from his side, just a name mentioned, Roadmap's down so no way to confirm what part of the work was done by him. So he ditched with our money? Or he was not paid? Or was this all sand in the players' eyes? If I recall correctly we had people willing to sponsor the Hosted tab without the use of the donation system and that worked out well.

 Not putting the blame on any of the HQ, but this pretty much compromises everything achieved since the announcement and pretty much kills off any hope for progress. Chase said it on his own - he can't pull off a new script on his own. Kudos for the effort, but I believe that's it. Good luck in the future!

AFAIK nobody was paid. While I can't make an entire game mode from scratch in a timely manner, the only thing I can do is try to upgrade RS5 the best I can.
