[EFLC] Several issues with launching the game.

Good day everyone,
I recently purchased GTA EFLC on Steam, as I wanted to pop by IVMP again, and have sadly ran in to several issues when trying to launch the game.

When launching EFLC, loading happens till after the rockstar images, once they disappear, the screen goes black, and about a second or two later, the application closes, no errors.

When lauching IVMP EFLC, it does not get further than this screen.




I've tried several of the suggested fixes, and a few online fixes but sadly haven't run in to any fixes.


I tried installing the EFLC downpatch, but that also gives me an error saying it failed to install the title update.

I'm at a loss on what to do to fix it, usually I can manage to fix these things myself, but I wouldn't know where to look at, hope one of you guys can help me out.

Try installing the game into another directory maybe? Change the compability of the EFLC.exe(orwhateveritis), run it as administrator, open singleplayer, play a bit, save after the first mission, try joining IVMP again.

I think I remember when my IVMP didn't launch the game, then I decided to play singleplayer, saved and tried again and it logged in. I'm guessing it's because it needs to load the textures and stuff and singleplayer does this to prepare the textures for multiplayer?

I don't really know if it's commandline related, but give it a try

Give this commandline a try, I helped some people with the same problem and it worked

Paste the file in the game directory and try to launch SP.

When I installed my game in D drive it was not working, but when I changed to C drive it works fine.

As I stated in my initial message, when launching single player, it won't get past the rockstar logos, it just black screens for a little bit, then closes, no errors shown.

Have you tried compability changing? Try moving the files to another directory and running it as administrator. Or ask in another GTA EFLC related forum, I'm sure they can help you better.

Managed to resolve the isuse, thank you for your help, issue was related to steam.
