Yo
Alright, so lets just get to the plan I'm sure some have been wondering about. After looking over things, I've come up with a battle plan to get things on track and lead up to RS6. Myself and Chase will constantly remain transparent in updating as we progress through this plan.
The first priority is optimization and fixes. I won't even sugar coat this, there has been a lot of shit code written by bad developers since RS5.2 was released. There is a reason some of the people who made it on to the team never made it onto my team. This code needs to be optimized before we can start throwing new stuff on top of it. As you may already have noticed, at my suggestion there's already been optimizations which appear to have lightened the load and increase performance. That was step one.
Next after this is more bug fixes and some minor feature changes. This will continue to weed out any major bugs that might remain or have come from the optimization rewrites. The minor changes will mostly include things that need to change for performance or in order to best fit the conditions we're working with.
Finally, the grand burrito will be RS6 with new features and changes as detailed by management and some of my own discretion. Now those of you who know the story of RS.1 and RS5.2 know this is a very similar plan to what we implemented then. It's a plan that works and gets shit done which is what is needed right now. There are of course some adjustments to this in order to fit what we're working with.
Lastly, while I've been away I've been playing different games, and working on different projects, bots, and apps and with that said I really would prefer to keep those and here separate. Just please respect my .. I guess Argonath free zones.
Now, lets get this bread.
