THE KAUFMAN CABS UNION

General Description

The Kaufman Cabs Union is an organisation uniting aspiring bussiness men, women and workers with a simple goal of earning profit by cooperation and establishing common goals. The organisation operates as a group of men and women of various ethnic, social and political backgrounds who want to make fortune work in their favor in a city that has all the odds stacked against them. Members of the Kaufman Union provide social security and safety to one another, helping fight racketeers and other dangers that a potential bussiness men might face. The group is currently mostly known for co-operating with the Marsek Corporation to co-manage the Kaufman Cabs - an aspiring bussiness venture that is about to revolutionise the transport industry of Vice City.


History

Gabriel Kaufman was born into a family of an East German army general and a military nurse. Having not shared his parents vision of a hereditary military service, young Fredericko decided to flee to the United States of Argonath once he turned twenty to pursue a goal of his own. Establishing himself at home in Vice City was a rather difficult task: he worked as a port worker in Vice Port Authority for about five years in very unfavorable conditions and an unsatisfactory pay, later being promoted to a truck driver for the port, prolonging his career in VPA to ten years in total. Mr. Kaufman was a reliable driver - he'd always get the cargo intact and on time where it needed to be, which got him noticed by Conrad Schneider - an owner of a cab company in Little Havana. Mr. Kaufman had been offered a job as a taxi driver, where he worked for another five years.
Mr. Schneider was getting old and unable to handle the company much longer due to ill health. The bussiness had also stagnated due to more and more citizens owning a vehicle of their own. The Marsek Corporation had stepped it and bought Mr. Schneider out of the bussiness. However, having aknowledged Mr. Kaufmans input into the company, they had assigned him as the General Manager of the company.
