No, it's not. Please don't make V as same as IV. This is a new beginning from scratch, let it be one of a kind, don't let it become another IVMP with V map. Let it become worth the wait.

Aside from the fact that you are saying ivmp sucks, the reason why v is here so quickly after Armelin started is because of IVMP ported scripts. Unless you got a whole new gamemode on paper Armelin can look at, alot of things will be similar.

It's just to get v started. Over time it will be molded into something different than iv with new input, ideas and suggestions from the community

Different as in what exactly. I mean Argonath from what I read around and had spoken to some people on server it's notoriously a "light roleplay" community. My gathering from that is more or less freeroam with being able to roleplay optionally. Maybe shed some light on what we as players can expect in the future if you have a plan going forward.

Not sure what you meant with "if you have a plan going forward". Implying that we aren't going forward if we keep light roleplay would be wrong.

With different I mean the difference in scripts, these differences will grow bigger and bigger when the ideas and suggestions from the community are worked into these scripts.

You were saddened to read that the scripts were mostly from IVMP, can I conclude from that that you haven't been to the public tests yet since you just found out? Without this port we wouldn't even have a V server right now, but from what I can read in your reply is that you don't care about that fact. Instead you call it a 'slap in the face to people who were looking forward to seeing something different'. What difference is that exactly? You started your reply about light roleplay, so I assume you want something more roleplay heavy?

There are no specific server rules yet, there is no specific direction taken yet into the matter of roleplay. From what I can read is that people are okay with light roleplay in IVMP, but are annoyed by people trying to evade, obstruct or defeat the roleplay spirit when they are expected to roleplay. Correct me if I am wrong about that.

If we go that way of light roleplay we'd have to make sure that we learn from the annoyances in ivmp and not repeat them here. Community input is important here too.

I don't want to speak for Armelin, but I believe we are getting close to a playable version which will still need some updating as time goes on.

I am old argonath player from 2010 - 2013. Have not used argonath after that so i am kinda clueless how to find information about these beta tests and / or how to get member status in discord so i could ask in there. Okay so my question is will there be some kind of announcement when the server is going to the open test and is it today or tomorrow? Would like to test GTA V RP and argonath is my choice of RP community.
