Well, if you say Klaus was an example for you it's good that you changed it because it seems like you don't even know him as personality, neither do I but here is my opinion that might help you. Everyone hates him at first, he might act like an asshole but he does it intentionally, he likes to mess around with your nerves, I always thought that he has something personal with me: always provoking me, always making fun of me and others, but he's not that bad of a guy, even you should know that since he was a closer "friend" of yours. At some point you'll be able to calmly talk with him, only if you don't continue to get offended by everything he says, let him talk and you continue do your thing.
Keep that in your mind!
