offline mode not available

after i faced the error of (freezing on launching the game)
i uninstalled it completely with social club
and tried to download it again, but now i faced this problem

Does GTA V Social club supports cancel/resume during downloading ??
or the files would get courrpted ? 

because im sick of downloading these 83GB for the 3rd time ...

Toreto, you got same problem with me you have to use vpn also when you are going online as your ip and mine doesn’t support social club. So using ragemp you need to open VPN all the time.

for me resuming download works, maybe u can only lose a part of files when a new update from rockstar comes out

Pausing/Resuming the download sometimes gives troubles, such as the game not downloading after it has reached less than half and stuff.

because when i was downloading it the first time and cancel/resume
i get this error during downloading "connection to download server lost... Reconnecting"

and fixed this with deleting the ".part" files from the game directory every time before i resume... and it was resuming with a problem.
but when i finished i faced a "freezing error druing launching the game"
when i contacted Rockstar's support they said that i faced the error due to the existance of some courrpted files during download... maybe deleting the ".part" files was causing this ..

sorry for wasting your time
but to sum up., when i try to resume the download should i resume without deleting the ".part" files ?

i dont know what ure talking about XD, u dont need to delete nothing, u can shut down ur pc normally and when u open the launcher it must resume the donload

As Mario already said, the only way you can download it is without canceling the setup. For me already took 2 days without shutting down the pc.

i think that is because the vpn issue, but u are downloading the game with the vpn active?
