Most politicians don't deserve their status but they still have it. Why not having elections. with debates and stuff like that.

The Founders of the server would have absolute power but I mean they could let the Citizens vote for who they wanted. As I said, we could have elections based on their Campaigns and Rallys.

About elections, I think No, why?

Look at oscar awards, did 1, yes one person vote what he/she trully thought or did they all vote for their friends?
Same for elections, 15 guys in mafia/group would elect their friend who is rarely on and is a dmer sometimes, why? because he has friends like him.

I say These people made this server, if we can do anything to give them praise they deserver, lets give them goverment.

 :ps: when on praise part, why i always see stuff like devs screved up this and that? Im waitting for 1
 topic with name Tnx devs, or great script devs, or tnx for making this all posible..  but as the time passes, not even one topic in whole forum.

Cda, I know what you mean about the popularity thing, but isn't it the same in the real world? I mean all african americans are going to vote for Obama, all women are going to vote for Hilary, all christian conservatives are probably going to vote for Huckabee, and so on and so forth. It wouldn't be much different for the server. Except it would be gangs instead of religions/states. Oh, and just for the record, we HAVE all probably been a little greedy/selfish with our compliments to the people who made Argonath possible. So thanks guys. It took a post for me to realize it.

Why is it every time someone disagrees with you they get a big fireplace full of flame from you?
Argonath is a great server without you flaming everyone every 5 minutes cause you dont like something they did, Or you dont agree with one of there ideas, because of this you are losing mass amounts of respect, and probally on the verge of a ban.
Take a chill pill, no one flamed you or provoked you, Your pissed off cause Ron disagrees with something you think, Tell yah what I dont agree with it either, i dont want the mayors of each city being voted for by the citizens of argonath, it should remain Developers choice Plain and Simple.

The original idea of mayors was to get them to organize events and make the city more alive. If we want to elect mayors, they should be willing to work and create jobs and events for their cities. what we saw on other servers, elections are fun. But after elections there was nothing until next elections.
