Things are very complicated nowadays. Server rules apparently only apply to civillians, as cops do not get punished for deathmatch anymore.

Back in the days though, when the rules still meant something, and the administration wasn't so one sided server was a better place and therefore more populated.

Back in the day, there used to be a rule, if you get deathmatch, you can either fight back or report.

The other day i decided to go by that rule, upon getting deathmatched i didn't report someone who isn't gonna get punished for blatantly deathmatching me, i decided to just hit them back the same way, and even then i had more dignity than the ones who deathmatched me. I approached them and tried to roleplay, regardless of the fact they had dmed me minutes ago.

This is me getting deathamtched, once again as a civillian without a weapon visible to cops, without fighting back or trying to run, without an option to give up or even try to roleplay as i was being sniped at the range at which you cant even see names, just standing still and getting killed for no reason. (ss is actually seconds after what happened^)


Now this is when i decided to go back and try to roleplay with cops, the scenario we could have done properly had they not deathmatched me just seconds ago. They completly ignored the fact that im trying to roleplay, because they killed me. I didn't care if i'd get killed again i just wanted it properly roleplayed for once, on a roleplay server, but as they didn't want to do that i gave them a taste of their own medicine.


Yet again, after saying he would let us all of with a verbal warning, as all of us were in the wrong, Nathan decided to request the ban so here we go again.

I forum PMed Gobii saying what happened before Nathan had even come in game. I don't have a problem with abiding the rules, or being punished when i break them, all i'm asking is a little fairness. How can you let them slide with constantly deathmatching people, but issue a ban on me every single time i break a rule, which has been case in the last 2 years pretty much.

This rule does not exist anymore. You report if you are death matched. You don't engage back. You report and ignore.


I thoroughly reviewed the logs with several team members several times. Please understand that the decision to ban was not taken lightly. Considering the circumstances and your previous punishment history, we felt it was the best decision to remove you. Nothing personal or cop-biased.

I understand your point of view. Without any sort of RP, the other party just engaged in a shootout. It wasn't just shit RP, there was no RP whatsoever. The other party will also be punished on our end so don't worry about them.

What I don't understand is why after expressing your anger in /p, you decided to go ahead and not only return to the scene after death, but also go deathmatching, literally the same way you got banned last time.

You will need to manage your anger better if you want to remain on the server.

The rule was targeted towards blatant rulebreakers that are continuously deathmatching or hacking to kill you, You may fight back if there is no admins and the player is ruining the whole servers gameplay.
In this situation you should have left and reported the situation in a forum report or tried contacting an admin via discord to come handle the situation.

Taking a situation into your own hands(breaking rules) is almost never okay, Remember that.

What you decided to do here is twist the concept of self defense against deathmatching. Sure, if all of the sudden someone starts to shoot you out of nowhere and there's really no one that can help you at that moment, shooting back is self defense, there is sense in trying to avoid getting killed by fighting back.
But getting killed and then going back towards said person and hunt him down it's revenge killing, which is listed down on the server rules.

After talking with Jovanca on Discord and investigating with the administrators involved i have come to a conclusion about this ban, The matter was handled disgustingly by the FBI and just as poorly by administration, This situation should have been handled by simply talking to every member of the encounter and lay down the rules, There was no real reason for a full ban, The appropriate people have been advised about how to handle certain situations next time.

As for the others involved in the Deathmatch they will all be given warnings. Unbanned.
