Game recommendations

Hello there. I'm looking for a shooter (maybe cartoon/fantasy.) game with a GREAT (something you'd say A or A+) storyline. No Call of duty Black ops or Infamous because I played both. If it has multiplayer, please include it in your reply, if not, no problems. I just want a game with a Good storyline that will keep me occupied for a while.

I'd like a fancy action game..
Now I love the Mafia series, along with the GTA styles, one problem is, I'm done with'em all and, so to say, waiting for another one in the series. Now I hope there are some awesome "look alikes" undiscovered for me!

I have a couple of points that I would appreciate if they are filled;

• A good storyline, not some crappy lowprice story.
• A "classy" style, mafia look. I'd rather take 30s - 70s then today.

• A attention thief, something that really makes me want to continue.
• A game that offer me some funny dialogs and such.

If you have such a game in mind, you're godlike!

Wth buddy, too much Dead Space?
Correction : You can play as a Marine, Alien ( XENOMORPH ) or a Predator.
And yes the game is very good despite the bad reviews.

Mass Effect 2

Also recommend it, Mass Effect 2 is more of a shooter than Mass Effect 1 but it's best played if you play Mass Effect 1 first.

Also, I heard a lot of Mass effect not only here but with RL friends, can someone possible link me to a good review of it or even describe some of the game itself? I also want to know if I really need to play the first to enjoy the second one, because I'll probably get the second one only.

There's a 1 year and several months gap between the 1st one and the 2nd one. I would say Mass Effect 2 is more emmerssive.
However, having the knowladge of the story in the 1st game really helps, besides you carry your decisions from mass effect 1 to mass effect 2. For example meeting a Mass Effect 1 crewmate in ME2 would be weird like " Errrr who's this guy.... " .

PROTIP: Play the first one, then the second one. If you play the second one first, you'll be kicking yourself later for not playing the first. Trust me.
