Helping with grammar and spelling in a letter [Lock please]

I need your help. I am from germany and I am going to do an exchange with somebody in the USA. I have to write an e-mail now and would like to ask you, if you could help me  .

I’ve already told you, that I would like to ask some questions about the exchange.
Maybe you know that we have a break for 3 days in N.Y. and I would like to ask you if you now when the shops will be open in N.Y. at eastern. I need to know the days Saturday and Sunday. I think Sunday the shops will be closed, but I dunno yet.
My second question is, if there are some outlet stores near to you, because I would like to buy clothes in the USA, because of the good exchange from Euro to Dollar and clothes are just cheaper in the USA.
My last one is, if you are going to come to Germany.

Well these questions are just to check some things before coming to you.

Ah, before locking.

Trojan, I don't think you're supposed to have the spaces below "dear jon". because if you do, not only does it look, well, odd. But I think it would be incorrect, but I can't be sure as I'm not specialized in writing letters  :redface:
