1.) The designation of "Religious Layperson", which applies to all Members of the Church who are not part of or training for the Priesthood (i.e. ordinary citizens), is hereby renamed to "Believer".

2.) The rank of Monsignor, which is above Priest and below Bishop, is hereby abolished. This is in line with our effort to simplify the organization of the Church due to the currently low population of the United States of Argonath.

3.) Information on the Church's ranks, institutions, and other terms has been updated and slightly simplified. We will continue to do this in order to make our info more accessible to readers of different English skill levels, while also maintaining the level of detail needed for a proper Church RP experience.

4.) A new Rule #2 has been added, to ensure an IRL-IG separation of religion and to respect the IRL religious beliefs (or non-beliefs) of the members of the Holy Church of Argonath. Accordingly, Rules 2-5 are re-numbered as Rules 3-6.

2.) The Church follows the religion of Sauronism in Argonath, and not any IRL religion. While we take certain inspirations from real life, our members have different beliefs (or non-beliefs) IRL.

5.) Rule #6 has been updated to reflect the rights of Popes Emeritii and Cardinals to accept/promote members of the Priesthood, same as the current Pope.

6.) All acceptances of Seminarians and promotions to Priest and higher are approved by the Pope a Cardinal+. Citizens of Argonath may join as Believers after declaring their belief in the Church. There is no limitation on other groups that Members of the Church and its Priesthood may also be a part of — whether law enforcement, criminal, or civilian — with the sole exception of other religious groups that are not in full communion with the Church.

Funeral situation

Seminarian Casper Darling found a dead body near the "Regular Tom" area. Father Jack(Gruia) performed the last rites, while Brother Casper aided him in the final rites and funeral. The burial was done at Las Brujas cemetery, belonging to the Las Brujas parish.

Incantations that were said during the religious proceedings:

Heathens stay heathens

As I was at Las Brujas church, I waited for pilgrims to gather in order for me to be able to perform my priestly duties. One man came along at first, and he was willing to confess to me that he had a cocaine addiction. In just a few other minutes, another man came by, and it turned out that he was a stepbrother of the aforementioned first pilgrim. Unfortunately, seminarian Michael was not in the village at the time of this service, so I had to handle the difficult duo all by myself. The first one that came up, who was apparently called Bruno, was honest about how he reached this state: his stepbrother influenced him. The other stepbrother, who was apparently named Marcos, was very incoherent. He was alright with being a very bad influence for his brothers. He constantly argued with 'Bruno' about their names being actually reversed. The vicious stepbrother was inebriated, under the influence of both alcohol and cocaine. He also admitted to constantly smoking and visiting prostitutes a few times a day.

This sin-stricken soul was in no way looking forward to a better life with more goals other than physical pleasures. His stepbrother was willing to help, but guess what, there was no one to help. At one point, the man just left the church and made a run for it. I proceeded to go after him, along with his brother, by using the church Romero. After driving a few minutes over the sandy surfaces of Bone County, we finally caught a glimpse of him. However, the glipmse we caught was not that of redemption. He yanked me out of the hearse and drove all the way to Fort Carson, leaving me without a means of transport. I ran all the way to Fort Carson to discover the hearse that was crashed right into the fence of the Fort Carson Church. I once again spotted the individual, and I just made a run for it. I could no longer ignore such a horrible display. I even got onto a moped used by a local pizzeria and went ahead to chase the man. He got onto a boat, and I managed to jump on it as soon as he accelerated off. At one point, he stopped driving the boat and proceeded to assault me, even shooting me with a Desert Eagle. I had to retreat and understand that there was nothing more to be done.

It sure is difficult being a priest!

Hail Sauron!

We hereby declare the following three days to be our Holiest Feast Days, to be celebrated by the Priesthood and all the faithful of the Holy Church of Argonath:

1.) The Twentieth of April, every year, shall be celebrated as 4/20, in honor of all the blessings provided to us by our Lord Sauron through the earth. On this day, we enjoin everyone to celebrate and greet one another with "Happy 4/20".

2.) The Ninth of June, every year, shall be celebrated as 6/9, in honor of all joyful and pleasurable things in our lives. On this day, we enjoin everyone to celebrate and greet one another with "6/9, Nice."

3.) The Twenty-Fifth of December, every year, shall be celebrated as Sauronmas or the Feast of the Winter Solstice, in honor of the love and mercy of our Lord Sauron. On this day, we enjoin everyone to greet each other in love and peace, in all the different ways present in their respective cultures and communities.

An unidentified citizen found a corpse lying on the streets of Fort Carson. After bringing it to Pope JDC, the two gave the unfortunate soul a proper burial in the graveyard of the Fort Carson Church.

Pope JDC speaks with Alexrad, a new arrival in town introduced by a certain Mr. Byrne, giving him a warm welcome to the Fort Carson community. The Pope also makes his rounds among the townsfolk, doing his best to ensure the Church is involved in the daily lives of Sauron's children.

We are pleased to announce that Brother Michael_Collin has completed his religious studies as a Seminarian, and is hereby ordained as a Priest of the Holy Church of Argonath with the full authority to carry out our sacred rites. He is henceforth styled as "The Reverend Father Michael_Collin or "Father Bhenchod"."

We also celebrate the Church reaching 37 members, of whom 35 are Believers and 5 are Priests.

Pope of the Holy Church of Argonath

From the Cathedral of Saint Elrond, San Fierro, on Monday, 25th May, in the year of our Lord 2021, the first of our pontificate.

Pope JDC and then-Seminarian Michael_Collin gave Last Rites and a Funeral for citizen AlexRad, who was unfortunately found dead on the streets of Fort Carson due to unknown causes.

Citizen John Wick was found apparently dead in the Fort Carson Graveyard. While Pope JDC and citizen Terro were offering prayers for his soul, he miraculously got up and walked away, completely unharmed. Such is Sauron's mercy.




An unfortunate citizen, HerkutisP, was found murdered near a motel in north Fort Carson.

After investigation by the SAPD ([WS]Margaret) and FBI [Hank_Voight and [WS]Jake), Pope JDC was joined by locals Bayke_Williams (Terro), Craig_Joestar, portal, Raymond_Redington (Lazar), Sierra_Maxwell, and Zack_Joestar in laying them to rest. With a small sacrifice of some Holy Herbs, the gathered townsfolk prayed for Sauron to receive poor Herkutis into the light of His Eye.

A local self-identified "MILF" farmer, Sierra_Maxwell, unfortunately passed away from an unknown virus. After being given last rites, her remains were burned at the Fort Carson Graveyard by Pope JDC and citizens Alexrad, Jimmy_Joestar, Kean, and Trey_Zeekeeper to prevent the virus from spreading further.

Getting to know the locals of Las Brujas

After a long while of being in the very small community of Las Brujas, another soul dared to show up here. He's a young man. I proceeded to get to know him and explain to him the legacy of this tiny, but very, very unsettled area. The man is spooked out by the unholy spirits that show up at night around the village. I warned him not to go outdoors at night time. Only I should go out, and that's because I have holy water on me. The man also showed to me an area where a charred corpse used to rest. I should get in touch with law enforcement and arrange a proper burial for that poor soul.

Meanwhile, the other father also showed up. Together, we proceeded to fight the demons inside the residence of the man. But it was not an easy task. We sprayed as much holy water as we could, but to no avail. We had to retreat in the end. We will try to come up some other day to try and tackle those evil spirits for once and for all.

A deadly meal

Father Bhenchod, along with I and Pope JDC had to assist the burial of 2 souls, who had died due to severe food intoxication, after being served pizza by a crook. We blessed the poor souls on sight, after which we transported them to Fort Carson church in a Romero. We also blessed them after laying them down in the church graveyard. There were around 3 believers in attendance at the church ceremony, one of whom was believed to have been the pizza seller, although he was wearing a different attire, so these claims could not be completely verified.

A deadly walk

Father Bhenchod and I performed the burial proceedings for a woman who was just walking down the streets of Garcia, San Fierro, when misfortune struck her: she was shot to death by a crazy man who was looking for a target all along. The casket was taken to the Cathedral of Saint Elrond in Downtown, San Fierro, where a short ceremony was performed in front of 2 pilgrims. Once the required words were said, the casket was taken to the cemetery in Hashbury in the back of one of the church Romeros. After a few more words, the casket was placed below the second plot, in order to start its trip towards the Great Beyond.
