Have to admit, I'm pretty amazed that it's actually still going, that is some achievement. If you think it's based around a PC game that came out in 2004 the fact the community has managed to keep it going deserves a big pat on the back.

I started in 2007 on the old Pen1 scripts and stopped around 2011 apart from the occasional drop in after that but the fact I can end up on the forums 15 years after starting is a testament to the role Argonath played in my SAMP days and the impact it had.

Hi there

I haven’t been here since at least 2016 or 2017. Somehow this community crossed my mind, I was one of 3 South Africans playing on Argo SAMP. I first joined Argonath in 2009. I was 14 years old at the time and I unfortunately as I got older things in my life had changed and I had grown up. I was an admin for the SAMP server during the years 2012 to 2016.

It’s now 2023, I’m 28 years old and have immigrated to New Zealand. This community was a big part of my teenage years and taught me some really good things in my character. I’m glad to see the plan to shut the server down was cancelled, on top of that I probably won’t log into the SAMP server any time soon unfortunately, just I have lost interest in the game. I sort of lost interest when the server moved over to RS5 from RS4.

It’s nice to see some of the good guys still doing their best to keep the server running. Cutter and Badandy I remember you guys, you guys were always awesome and seem to still be committed. Big shoutout to you guys.

Thank you all for the good memories, they will always be a big part of my life!
