About Us

The Council of San Fierro is a non-governmental independent body representing the community of the City of San Fierro. It runs events, manages permits for local housing and businesses, as well as micro-management of the city on a community level.

We represent the community. It is optional to acknowledge or work with us, but as a part of the community of San Fierro, it's highly encouraged. Our main priority is to take advantage of all our fine city provides and use it to engage with the community, to make the livelihood and activity of the city more frequent, more interactive, and most of all, more united.

The Council is composed of a President and their local leadership, which consists of Councilmen and Councilwomen. New Presidents are appointed by the local leadership in a vote of democracy. Local Leadership are employed by and serve at the pleasure of the President. There is always an uneven number of Local Leadership in the event a President no longer holds office, the Local Leadership assume interim leadership of the council and operate similarly to a Tribunal, with no possible deadlock as a result of the uneven number of representatives.

Local Members are employed by and serve at the pleasure of the President and Local Leadership. These members may represent a district or sub-community. They are responsible for the granting of permits within their respective sector(s), the enactment of municipal guidelines and the organization of local events.

President

• Serve as leader of the Council of San Fierro and its highest representative.
• Appoint local leadership and initiate elections for local positions.
• Preside over council meetings and hearings.
• Oversee and implement local guidelines for events and business operations.
• Grant business and housing permits.

Local Leadership

• Attend and vote in council meetings and hearings.
• Serve as an interim leadership body of the Council of San Fierro and assume interim duties of the Council's highest representative officials.
• Representatives may run for President during an internal election, so long as their absence from voting does not create a deadlock. If it does, local leadership must first appoint an additional representative prior to hosting elections.
• Run an internal election for the next President of the Council in the event that the current incumbent can no longer execute their official duties (i.e. resignation, death).
• Grant business and housing permits.
• Oversee and implement local guidelines for events and business operations.

• Grant business and housing permits within their municipality or district.
• Oversee and implement local guidelines for events and business operations within their local area.
• Attend and vote in council meetings and hearings.

Elections are not open yet.

We will be hosting elections for Local Members of Council, to represent a district or municipality of San Fierro when the process is ready. These members will have a similar role to the council leadership, however, within their own areas.

Further notice will be provided when elections for Local Members of Council are open.

Announcements - Triathlon and the San Fierro Lifeguard Service

The Council of San Fierro is proud to announce an upcoming Triathlon! This will be held on the 6th of November in the City of San Fierro! The exact route is coming up by the 3rd of November, however, there will be various physical sports involved, ranging from running to swimming, to cycling! This is a great opportunity if you're fit and looking to test your physical abilities! Registration will open on the 3rd of November as well! If interested, be sure to register as an official contestant!

Contestants are free to have official sponsors or other endorsements, and lifeguards will be on stand-by for rescues, as part of our safety plan! There will also be a BBQ on the beach, if you're interested in sausages or hot chips!

Come and have fun, hang out on the beach and enjoy a day out, courtesy of the Council of San Fierro!

SAN FIERRO LIFEGUARD SERVICE
San Fierro Council Services

The Council of San Fierro is proud to announce the official opening of our Council's Lifeguard Service! These lifeguards will be patrolling the beaches of San Fierro, ensuring your safety in the sea and on our fine beaches!

We are looking for a Lifeguard Supervisor to assist us with the operation and maintenance of the Lifeguard Service and of our beaches! Furthermore, we are also looking for Lifeguards to join the service and help people in need on our beaches! If you think you are up for the position of Supervisory Lifeguard or a Lifeguard, send in your letters of interest!
