What the hell?

Last week I heard, through another friend, that Lion has stopped the cooperation between us. After 3 years of going forth and back on CitizenIV/HappinessMP, we have nothing to show. We can safely conclude that this operation has been a failure.

I have been scouting another option, which is GTA Connected. This looks promising and I want to spend time here looking into this. BlueCats prediction might be right which it got by hitting it's head.

However I am going to need your help. I can't do this by myself alone, my intention is to post updates every sunday from now on. Updates on development, the gamemode itself, features, staff updates everything. Hold me accountable if I don't post an update on Sunday!  Anyone who likes to contribute can pitch in. If you have ideas, if you are a developer or you have something else you are absolutely welcome. I am a developer myself, I love javascript (which coincidentally GTA Connected also uses), and I would love to help you if you want to learn to script for GTA Connected IV. Contact me, JNewTonik or Mac if you want to join.

My intention is to get something basic going on and expand on that, but original! I'd love to create something that hasn't been done in the past and isn't a copy of every Argo or other RP server out there. If there's no progress on this project I will recommend to the community leaders to close IV Argo down. There is no point in beating a dead horse.

It's been a long time since I checked the forum.
A lot of people know me from IV:MP, SA:MP,  and V:MP since I used to play in all of them!
and I am sure a lot of people hate me  since I used to have a lot of enemies, especially  on IV:MP.  (But I got nothing but love, it's a game after all ♡)
Damn guys, I really miss playing together!

I joined IVMP in 2017.
I used to be part of both T3 era and T4 era. I remember when the server was full and we used to wait until someone crashes, so we can join the server.
and I also remember when the server was dead empty and 1 or 2 players were there.

It's really sad to see that the place I used to spend hours playing in no longer exists. and even the CitizenIV/HappinessMP project that was going to revive IVMP failed.

I am a software engineer and I mainly use (javascript/typescript) I'd be more than happy to contribute and work on reviving IVMP project.

Unfortunately, I switched to console gaming and sold my desktop PC. I am not sure if my current laptop can run GTA IV at a playable FPS, so I would not be able to join.

Though I sure do remember so fun times back in the IV:MP era.
