Large overhaul request of IV:MP related boards.

Hello guys, it's been a while.

Honestly I don't know where this post would fit best. I think this post belongs best here but if wrong, someone kindly move into correct area.

As James Conway mentioned in the mass postings yesterday, there's a new development ongoing with IV:MP. The plan to use CitizenMP seems to have been scrapped in favor for the use of GTA Connected.
There seems to be a lot of development and activity, even a possible public test soon. Hurray!
Meanwhile the forum is lacking the same treatment and requires a change to avoid being confusing and be ready for the launch to be used right away, if not to be available to other divisions to see and spark interest.

There seems to be a trend with ArgonathRPG refreshing itself. SA:MP seems to have changes and improving. FiveM is in development after RageMP ceased to work, and now IV:MP. Correct me if wrong.
Hopefully with the new servers on the various divisions, new life will prevail once again in the ArgonathRPG community.

At the moment most boards and topics with-in the 'IV:MP area' are still named and related towards CitizenMP:IV. I would respectfully ask anyone in power to change those.
Also some boards of concern I have added below which either need renaming or removing altogether.
I will provide additional information as to why I think the following should be done where it doesn't seem obvious:


CitizenMP:IV - Liberty City Multiplayer -> To be renamed IV:MP
CitizenMP:IV News -> To be renamed IV:MP News
CitizenMP:IV General -> To be renamed IV:MP General
CitizenMP:IV Development -> To be locked/removed, due to being CitizenMP specific and cut. Alternatively, it can be moved towards CitizenMP:IV Ideas & Suggestions or CitizenMP:IV News
CitizenMP:IV Ideas & Suggestions -> To be renamed IV:MP Ideas & Suggestions
CitizenMP:IV Support -> To be renamed IV:MP Support
CitizenMP:IV Entertainment To be renamed IV:MP Entertainment

CitizenMP:IV - Liberty City Government & Businesses -> To be renamed IV:MP - Liberty City Government & Businesses
CitizenMP:IV Court Hall -> To be renamed IV:MP Court Hall
CitizenMP:IV Businesses -> To be renamed IV:MP Businesses

CitizenMP:IV - Unban Requests -> To be renamed IV:MP - Unban Requests
CitizenMP:IV Closed Unban Requests -> To be renamed IV:MP - Closed Unban Requests

IV:MP's Wiki -> If possible to modify the content of the wiki page


Those were the first links, visible when entering the forum area and scrolling towards IV section. Now some specific stuff:

IV:MP - [OFFICIAL MOD] Liberty City Customs It is uncertain if the files are still available for download and usable on GTA:C, therefore I request to be looked into this topic

CitizenMP IV Installation Guide & Troubleshooting To be unpinned, locked/removed, as this is cut.
IV:MP T4 Installation Guide & Troubleshooting To be unpinned, locked/removed, as this is cut.
IV:MP 2.0 FAQ To be unpinned/removed, as this is cut.


People with elevated rights (think of moderators, admins, managers etc) should have their titles reset back to IV:MP, rather than CitizenMP titles.


These should be all necessary changes for now. I tried my best to keep it organized so that someone with elevated rights can quickly and accurately change said links without too much effort.
There might be possible minor changes later within posts/topics but those can and hopefully will be changed by their respective board moderators.

Any crossed line means it's fixed, moved, or removed.

I will take care of the support boards and make sure they're updated for GTA:Connected soon. If by the end of week i haven't done a thing, spam me on Discord and i'll move my lazy ass! For real tho.

Sure thing. You blame yourself if all hell breaks loose after a week.   

I will also continuously keep an eye around the IV:MP region to shorten the list above when I see changes being applied.
This way it stays up to date, with last update date showing in the top right.

Boards names have been changed thanks khm! and some topics have been cleaned up!

We will upgrade topics gradually as we move further with the server development, thanks for your suggestions and stay tuned for much more!

I have updated the OP. Thanks for updating most of the boards and topics.

Seems to me that 3 things are left. One is the server information, which we don't have yet so it's WIP. The others are the outdated IV:MP's Wiki page and LCC mod compatibility/availability investigation. When these are also done, this topic can be locked up or removed. Choice is yours.
