Share your first experience/day on ArgonathRPG

As the title says, for nostalgia reasons and boosting forum engagement, share the first time you found argonath and joined any of its server. How was it? What did you do? What was your first impression?

I recall myself joining for the first time on the former IVMP T3 server. I had the default chinese skin which I found ugly. It also ran like it had been rear-ended... Tried to pick a car, which was owned by the State so by my logic I thought I had stolen a car from the state. Little while later I get pulled over by cops. The cops were Harzy and Toreto. Anyone knowing them also knows how dramatic they can respond in RP or jokingly. Especially Harzy. I also had my audio volume turned up from before so the audible siren did not help the matter at first. During that traffic stop I recall myself about to shit my pants.

In retrospect, the cops were kind and explained the basics after they noticed I was a new player so no hard feelings.

Very nice topic!! I can't wait to see how it was for some veterans, especially from HQ staff members...like when they first thought about to open the server/community...

Here are my first steps,

was not far back in time around 2016 browsing the internet after using LCPDfr for more mods, yet I found T3. Without having any clue about Argonath I join the server due to RP tag and hoping to be
a police officer, I didn't became after all but anyway, the first days are passing without a single player online due to my login hours(after 1am+) and I was ready to quit it since I thought was a dead server
but a guy was watching me (beside Sauron) was About10pandas, he notice that I was login and playing alone and by curiosity he joined me to check what the heck I was doing. He told me about high-activity
hours, explained me commands and of course how to grow weed because was the perfect timing without cops  , I became his grower and he became the reason that I stay....big shout out to him!

P.S. I know was not my first day but the first day was repeated for around a month, me and my 10pandas could be the title lol.

2012 on SA:MP. Dmed CBFasi on the highway then dmed Jcs infront of LSPD. Glad they didn't ban me on the spot lol. I'm sure I dmed someone else after too.

My first day was somewhere in 2011 in november or so. I joined the server as "SneakyFoxx". I joined as a freecop and I was annoyed that a suspect could potentially go onward infinitely. There was no car damage and no fuel. After having chased the suspect for quite a while he finally rammed something and flew threw the front car window. I remember from from previous suspects that they are able to run away and not get shot (due terrible sync) and forcefully manage to jack another car and drive away. That led me to carkilling the suspect instantly. My reasonin was that isn't fair that a suspect gets so many changes and chases could go on for sooo long. Obviously I got warned by an admin for carkilling.

After that I was hooked and wanted to properly roleplay. I changed my name to James_Conway and applied for the LCPD and managed to also get into NOoSE. hAWK was  the commander of the LCPD at the time. Also applied for moderator and after hours of talking with Dellstorm I got it. Within a few weeks I was promoted to admin.

I will not go fully adressing my very first days since it's not worth mentioning few bananas for not being able to speak English, but after a year of actually trying to follow the rules I have a nice story to share.

Back in 2009 /hail and /gu was messed up and there was an 'unwritten rule' of after you have /hail'd, you have practically given up as a criminal. Not many cops knew of that and I'm pretty certain any misuse of /hail was not properly punished.

A very persistent cop with a red turismo named TeaM_Pazienza has been chasing me for days so I decide to play smart and abuse /hail to try to knife him once he was trying to type. After a couple of seconds of him trying to communicate and actually trying to RP, I realize he is typing and waste no time by getting behind his back and knifing him to death successfully.

Next thing you know I end up tempbanned and actually kicked from Araatus by Alsatian for being a massive dick. That ruined my day and seemed to be the worst thing I have ever faced at that time of life, considering I had improved a lot and was actively involved with a group.

Riding ambulance ridicoulsy, pulled over by James conway along with Skillz in his Super TRU Response Unit Vehicle, was Coquette.

A few disputes went through with admins like joey, paprika, mIDo, because at that time the most dealing way of paprika is taking you out of the car and going in the highest place to talk 😂
I fought for freedom at that time as far as i remember.

Joined MTA VC in 2007. It was very new back then, Argo started in 2006 as I recall.

Had about 7-10 players on server. I was very very excited at being able to play with human players. I was helped by friendly players on the server.

In my first days, I did abuse something without realising it was not allowed. In VC, if you entered a SWAT truck you'd get free armour. I showed this to Trobby and he wasn't too happy i think 😁. Wasn't banned for it as I recall though I was well taught that it is not allowed.

Then met the Sforzas in 2007 (weedboy, Miami, Tony and Al), applied for the family and joined.

It's been a long time since I saw your name around IV:MP. Were you close to Pokedude or Patrick Weltson? My mind could be playing games with be but I might recall some things, kinda blurred.

So far, everyone has something common. Rulebreaking (mostly) and lawbreaking at the end we are all humans and learning from our mistakes.

No clue what I did at the first few days. Joined in 22/07/2012.

Was trying to get on "freecops" duty and claim to have modded police vehicle and speedtrapping people. Got banned by Cyril (are you still here?) for illegal mods

I came back, DMed some more, [Rstar]Malcolm perm banned me.

BTW, after I got unbanned I started DMing Sforza and Tattaglia
