For the new Forum Moderators, it is quite evident that their actions have the blessing of the Administration. Many of you here with the list of warnings long enough to make a grocery receipt, have been exercising negative attitudes on forums such as constant trolling and posting of negative shit against Argonath. The Administration has tired of your actions, and sanctions will continue to ensue if you do not observe self-restraint.
 
Also, Panda, I recommend you request a cleanup of all the pointless spam in this topic (especially Daco posts) before it gets locked or official-warned.

The main reason they get warned/kicked/banned is due to small references to 4chan like "umad" "ujelly" "brbsoup" "____ is for fags" etc etc. which I find horribly discriminative to people who like 4chan and Moot.

I don't mind Biggo's avatar. Kids these days watch and listen to far worse things. Censoring word like "shit", "war", "cunt" et cetera...Doesn't help at all. Because all they do is protect themselves from overprotective parents. Those parents have no control over their children.

As for Cero, I've seen much of these comments. Tho, it definitely deserves a warning, I would classify it as "yet another moan".
Why would you assume this? You don't know him/her.The only connection between the person who had to receive it as a joke, and you, is a website(internet cable).

Well, seeing as Gandalf reads the majority of my posts to make sure I'm not making you all join another community, I'll just leave this here.


IF WE HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH WHAT PEOPLE WERE POSTING HERE WE WOULD REPORT IT, THERE HAS BEEN BETTER FORUM MODS, AND THEY NEVER DID WHAT YOU GUYS DID.

If we had a problem with loads of our posts, we would ask for a cleanup, but we dont.   I'd also apreciate forum moderators not warning me for four month old posts.   Seriously, get a grip.   There is nothing wrong with Andy's avatar, or his signature, there has never been a problem with it before, and I'm pretty sure half of the forum moderation team have seen it a million times.   If you make Andy remove it, I'll start using it.

I consider most of the random spam lately to be buried & forgotten, and don't personally trust any forum moderators to do a clean job of culling what is actually pointless and not. Sorry.

If I considered any single post considerably offensive I would report it.
Only if a post is reported or clearly offensive should moderators act on it.
Also, I did a perfectly good job of holding the groups board together without even the ability to forum warn. Whatever happened to good old "Removed"? If a post got reported and the report had absolutely any basis in fact whatsoever I basically removed the part that was reported. Almost every time without fail. I didn't issue forum warnings, and when they were desperately required (such as when the Stracci topic guys were bitching over how jelly they are of me) I requested them.
It worked fine. People shouldn't be forum warned for a single non-directly-offensive post.

Perhaps this is why I get so riled up about new forum moderators and admins.. because I was both at one time and had a solid policy that worked excellently and was favoured by many and when people have their own policies that differ and are decidedly not favoured (and are often less effective) it gets under my skin that they continue to follow it.



However, guys, I am gonna call another pause on the pointless stuff, for the reasons Maxy stated last time it was called. Take the random shit to Araatus forums or 4chan.. well not 4chan, because that has far more intelligent and unbiased discussion than anywhere else on the internet, and I wouldn't want to spoil that.

It was YOU that agreed to the forum rules when you registered your account, apperantly none of you seem to kept their promises, hence that is why you were warned in the first place. Instead of thinking we're here to be a pain you can stop with those lies, be a man and learn from your mistakes. It's up to you how nice or how bad your stay at the forums can be. We won't change our rules because you fail to see your own problems.

As for this Topic. It seems one of the leaders fails to recall the agreement with the forum rules aswell, The topic will be locked if more pages of nonsense are to be posted. This should be taken as the last warning, JDC has gaven you many aswell, this one is the last. It's up in your hands what you do.

We all got warned or moderated on March 9th and 10th. :o

I said to STOP posting nonsense for the good of this topic, You are the first person to cross the line once again. By provoking us to reply to that senseless comment of yours, like the many others given trough you, This will be the last word said about this entire situation created by the the Araatus leadership itself.  The next reply found offtopic and in breach with the rules of Argonath will result in a temporary topic lock to calm things down that way. There seems that the owners of this topic are not able to handle this themselves.
