ab attack on our server

This night was an attack from ab players. =LNL=Gazz and =AoA=chuck were spamming our server chat window and our forums.
=LNL=Gazz was banned from Argonath forums and both will be permbanned from our server.
=AoA=chuck was imposting Argonath admins nicks and flamed players.
Thanks to all citizens that had patience not to react and trying to kick spammers from server.
We shall find moderators for the night time of server, so they can protect Argonath home.

Also I want to pay attention to all players: It is not private scripts and were worked out by MTA group even before the first RPG server started. If ab pretends on copyright they should proove it to the main RPG MTA scripters, that is not possible.

We want ask all citizens not to do a revenge. Argonath's policy is to give more players an opportunity to play RPG. And we can see that even two RPG servers is not enough for the numbers of players who want to play RPG. Both servers being full in one time.
Argonath RPG will not start a war with ab server by the reason there is no any scary thing in being ab on line  
And we do not afraid of them or think that we must be the one RPG server.
We also do not see a reason to ban or stalk players that like to play on both servers as it does ab server. You are free in chosing what server you want to play.   There is no any contract which deny you free play on any MTA server. This is the policy of Rockstar, this is the policy of MTA team, this is the policy of Argonath RPG.

Kalle has been notified of the attacks (including IP's for his reference).

As Aragorn said we do not want attacks between servers. I have mentioned that if any Argonath regular players attack ab or any other server we will not approve of it.

ab players were continuing attacks of our forums. Tonight Gazz (A ka =LNL=Gazz) was trying to make the new flood attack.

Yesterday Argonath Government wrote a letter to the ab Government with asking stop their flooders and stop attaking and stalking other players due to the internet etiquette. ab admins assured us that they will deal with. But it seems that ab Government has no respect among its players or has the same policy of breaking all internet laws. Player Gazz was banned from his main and second IP from our forums.

From our side we thankfull to our citizens who wrote us letters and asked a permission for the revenge. And please people stay strong, do not answer the same, be higher. If you like server, first task is to make its name good. Revenge attacks will not rise higher Argonath name. And remember that on ab server a lot of players who are also our friends. But we really thankfull to you and your wished to protect server together. The best way - moderation, and yes, we are watching players in game.

I would like to attention all attackers to the fact that using a proxy is not enough. We are close to the point where we are going to notify your ISP of abuse. In such cases the proxy owners are obliged to give the IP of the abusers and tell the originating IP.
Attacks by proxies are taken very seriously by ISP as using a proxy shows already bad intentions.

Yes, and I also can add, that Gazz started telling a fairy tales that it was not him. If ab admins will wish, we shall send them all his IPs so they can compare it.

It might not mean much but im preety impressed with the reaction of Argonath, or at least its claims.

I have now come to understand that Argonath is a server that is hopefully going to be around for a while and will remain "professional".

=AoA=Sprint* was detected tonight with spamming server on different nicks.
His nick and IP detected. Thanks to all players, that did not leave the server and kicked spammer by votekick.
=AoA=Sprint* was banned from Argonath for tryings to ruin server.

We ask again do not do the same. Argonath keeps its positions to be more professional server then ab, and everyone who will be noticed in spamming ab, will get their punishment on Argonath. All this time we are better in treatment to players and that is why people leave ab and come to us. So please do not start the same childish actions. Do not answer the same as ab.

Because it says only about one thing. They afraid of us. And they do not like that even without admins on line our players roleplay and do not break the rules.

Hopefully I wont get labeled as a spy: But I also want to hear about the new server.  I come back from inactivicity, and within a month all the veterans are gone

Then i start hearing things about This place, I come over...and hear is what i have learned:

1. Scripts are somewhat Identical

2. DMers Are Not found in Argonath as much as ab

3. It is much harder to earn money in Argonath

4. It's hard beind a n00b in one place, and a record holder in another


That is what i have learned so far. Oh, and Squirrel-On-A-Stick is better with Rabies...Learned that too.

For starting server we took standart scripts of MTA team (thanks to MTA team), that were made more then 2 years ago, as it did ab when started. For better navigation of players we did not change some commands.

2. DMers Are Not found in Argonath as much as ab

Yes we do not hunting the quantity of players. We are trying to make qualificated RPG server. The second reason our admining is more soft, that is why people answer by starting respecting the server rules. But those who ignores constantly the admins warnings are punished strikt.

3. It is much harder to earn money in Argonath

Yes, we have no script "sit on server and we shall pay you". The jobs scripts that are in process of developing also will show, that we want people really work for money, not just sit on server and get 50$ an hour.

4. It's hard beind a n00b in one place, and a record holder in another

We have a lot of new players, mostly because other servers ignore their questions. That is why they stay on Argonath.

We call them modders  (short for moderator)  
They are a mix of experienced and new players who all showed good RPG potential and responsibility. Some will know you and give you some credit, for others you will be just another n00b.
Most of the modders are still on trial, and watched by Sauron.
