Yes you need, I made it clear when left Stracci why I left, I left it due the fact NO ONE was online, so decided to open my group and play with another people. Didn't knew you have to leave in order to play with other people. I was the only one for god knows how much time but I had no problems finding people to play with.

You see people such as Sisko with new guys ALL THE TIME and everyone is like 'What a nice guy, always helping out'

You can't just twist facts to suit yourself. If what you said was true we would leave all new guys in an unbreakable box for 6 months or more with chat disabled before you'd play with them.
