Members of the immediate family are the higher ranks.
This makes sure that no lower-ranks bring down the families reputation
It also makes them more mysterious - they can use the element of surprise with the tagless members.
Its a good system, we use it for recruiting too. (Similar, but not identical.)

Indeed. If someone really wants to know who is in the family it will be pretty easy as they are usually around one of our many assests or with us in a group. The idea of only having a tag for Caporegime and above is just mirroring a real life mafia as below that level, they are not direct famly just soldiers working for us. Our aim is to increase the RP of the family and to make it more fun to RP mafia life with us as experienced by Zesse and Tovennake.
