Read the WHOLE quote, the Development updates will be shown on the sa-mp.com homepage. SA:MP is still going, but the forums aren't

and then they will refuse to hand over the project for unclear reasons again

If this goes on then people will stop playing even if samp goes on

Nobody likes develloping for a game that everytime there is a problem is discontinued

I know, IF they announce a total stop, players will riot , again. If Gandalf and Aragorn will remember the huge MSN convo the day it shut....I guess the don't really want that again. And thinking back on that convo...it shows how much the players are dedicated to SA:MP. It also shows, that Kye is not thinking of the players, but himself and his reputation.

When there is coming a new game it doesn't automaticly mean that the old game will stop..

One little sample of it is, Command&Conquer Renegade, it's a game from 2001 or 2002..still hundreds of people play it online;)
And the demo..which is pretty shitty(laggs..) is still alive too.. :redface:

So I don't think SA-MP will go down that soon :bye:

It will go down only if master list will be switched off, and from this news I understood, that Master list will be still working...
Official Forum had a lot of useful info... Some guys organized a new forum, but as for me, after release of 0.2.5 (hopefully it will be released), those forums will be useful to get some info from playing 0.2.5 and experience... But as soon as all 0.2.5 will be tested by players till the end together with scripts possibilities, that forum also will die slowly...
No development - no discussions, just junk, flame and asskissing...

From what I understood, Keyman will release 0.2.5 version and thats all... Master list will keep its work without official servers, so it will be like MTA:VC nowadays...

But VC is basically the same engine as SA really and so the same graphics etc, but with GTAIV woah :wow: it just looks so good compared.

The best is to wait for GTA 4 official release and check the graphics and multiplayer option...
The thing is - trailers are always better then the game itself... They show mostly cutshots...

As from my own opinion - the graphics which GTA 4 uses are not the best... Look at the other games graphics - its a way better... So it will become old in graphics competition very soon (it is already in compare with CoD4 and Crysis), as more and more games are using more powerful engines and graphics...

A few things that can attract attention:
- storyline;
- official multiplayer;

From this two remains probably the first one because for SAMP gamers 16 slots is not serious...
But storyline will be played, all city will be checked... Whats next?
For those who are interested in game engines, the one interest will be to see the difference between old engine and new one of GTA IV...

Thats just some different thoughts, thou I will like GTA IV as I liked all GTA I have been played, even old ancient GTA2... 

Forgot to mention ingame features... That will be interesting to try...

Why rockstar itself dosen't add multiplayer option to  the game ?

They are , but i think that MTA and MP is way better , because in Official thingy , i bet you wont be able to make your own script -.- baaad EA , **** Off
