well you need internet, which you clearly have:P what internet you on? the speed and stuff, and all the stuff that came with your internet router etc.

well, what version of xbox did you buy? and also you have to pay 40pound for a whole year or 5pound per month with credit card, there are other ways to pay i think.

oh, go on "join xbox live" when everythings connected and you get 1month gold membership free with silver:P

btw how the thing works with the payment,.I buy a card and scratch for code?

it works like this. you pay the money for the membership for say 3 months, when that 3 months runs out you have to top up again...kind of like putting credit on your phone. scratch cards you get them and you click "i have a code" or something like that on there, and you enter the code you got on the scratch card and you get membership

Put the ethernet wire in your Xbox, get an Xbox live membership paying by either credit card (online) or buying a top up card.

1month= £5
3months= £15
1year= £40

The official 360 cable (which I recommend you get) comes with a VGA connector, and 2 RCA jacks (the same kind as the connector you get with the console) for the sound. Not to mention an adapter for the RCA jacks that turns them into a 3.5mm plug.
