Uhh... Downgrader thingy not working for me...

I just bought San Andreas for the PC about a week ago, version 2. I want to play MTA:SA, but it only allows v.1. Fair enough, there's a downgrader for that. I run it, fine, fine, until it says "Error: gta_sa.exe: Unknown version."

I know this means it thinks my version of SA is cracked, but it isn't. My brother downloaded SA for his PC and it didn't let him, but I should be able to with a full version, right?

I have tried re-installing several times, with no luck.
