Warning to those that run SA-MP servers and seriously want to see this mod kept alive:-

Beware of those who hang around but don't actually play SA-MP.

There are people involved in this mod at various levels who are hanging around for so-called "community." They do not play SA-MP. They have attacked the former SA-MP developers and admins of popular servers claiming it's their right under "free speech." But given other opportunities to attack, such as: using stolen passwords, using/creating flood tools or bots, cheating on servers and leaking private files; they have done this. They do not care if this mod gets buried 10ft below the ground along with all 100,000 people who actively play it. I have tried to fight these people but that responsibility will now fall on you. They must be rejected at every level if this mod is to stay alive.

SA-MP web sitem is now back up everything you need to know is there. Yes SA-MP has been taken over and no there will be no more updates apart from important ones.
