The Alias Posse, or "The Jamaican Businessmen" as they tend to call themselves, is the unpolished diamond of the Jamaican organized crime waiting to be worked on and shown what it really is made of. The posse started forming in the winter 2007 as another offspring of the major Spangler Posse. Firstly orientated towards Little Jamaica in Toronto, Canada, Drazian - the founder - encountered many difficulties and competition. Forced to leave, him and his boys have installed themselves in the East Los Santos borough in the south of San Andreas.
The name "Alias Posse" is literally translated from Jamaican as "Dangerous Posse", "Dangerous Gang"; however, after bad experience in the Spangler Posse, the leading party would rather call themselves simply "The Jamaican Businessmen" as they do not refer to themselves as a gang anymore, but rather a mob. Their only purpose seems to be to make money any way possible, because with money comes power and apparently, this is what every man wants.
To solidify their position as a work-in-progress mob, the Alias Posse had organized a strict ranking system separating its members in "the thugs", "the warlords" and "the businessmen". The businessmen lead, organize and make money, they basically are the mob (necessarily of Jamaican origin). The warlords are the link between the businessmen and the thugs: they recieve orders from above and make sure they are followed below. The thugs are mostly teenagers and raw recruits from the poor areas of Los Santos; they are predominantly Black, but race isn't a factor of choice. The thugs are here to take care of the dirty job. These are the known ranks:
The office level
The council leaders - these organize and take decisions in the council.
DrazianThe council members - these help and provide more ideas in the council.
The lobby level
The officers - these forward the office message to the street.
The street level
The dealers - these deal the product and make money for the organization.
The thugs - these fight enemies if there are and protect the dealers.
The informants - shortly: spies.
The businessmen, well-dressed and official looking men are the crime masterminds and the members of the leading council of the Alias Posse. The office level consists of The President, The Council Leaders and The Council Members who at all times remain publically legal and tend to never get into run-ins with the police department. The President, believed to be Drazian, does not engage in any mob activity at all; he remains in the shade, sending directives to the council leaders from an unknown location. Only the office level knows about his existance and it never mentions the President anywhere at any occasion.
The Leaders, helped by the Members, do everything related to organizing and sending the rest of the gang into the right location, setting the money-making on the right path. The President provides worthy contacts to the mob and messages rules that have to be immediatly applied. Rules and important decisions discussed in the council always pass by The President before coming in action.
The street level consists of the dealers, the thugs and the informants. Them and the officers, who lead the street-level operations, are the ones doing the dirty job and bringing money in the mob. The dealers supply the streets with guns, drugs or other illegal, quick-money products. They, however, do not engage into fights and have to remain slick in order to avoid the police and to keep the product. If a dealer looses the product he must sell, it is his responsibility, under the fear of death, to pay for it, seeing as the council provides it.
The thugs are the ones who will fight, carry guns and protect the dealers in a dangerous situation. In case the time is peaceful, at its best, the thugs may occupy themselves by robbery, extortion and other illegal activity in order to extract money.
The spies, at this time, will have to be everywhere in the Los Santos criminal underground: they will get all the information possible on other organizations without flashing themselves (a spotted spy is a dead spy). The information will be used in order to find potential allies, business partners, powerful rivals and the economic actuality of the criminal underground.
You're in the organization until death.
The word from the above is your rule and the council's decisions aren't discussed.
Backstabbing and being a double-agent is certain death.
Snitching is certain death. Even if you pay your freedom by talking, you will be killed.
The Council doesn't exist: if you are caught, you're a loner.
All the profit goes to the council at first, then they manage the money and spread it between the gang.
Stealing from the gang is certain death, or at best - exile.
No apparent criminal activity in public places, avoid getting caught no matter what.
There is no such thing as the Alias Posse for the rest of the city.
Everything of importance must be reported to the officers, then the council members.
Do not attack or provoke other organizations.
Remember the fact that we're a background act and we don't need worldwide attention.
