500 Australian dollars is like £250 gbp here which could get you a very shitty pc lol, like a pc with 256 ram and a 32mb graphics card haha.

If you only got $500AU, your not going to get much, especially if your looking at the high end, that is the cost of the GPU.

Yeah my comp alone (not including Monitor, keyboard, mouse or speakers) cost $840.
You could always put the money aside, then start working and save up some more, then eventurally you will have enough to get a pretty good computer.
